She walked Honey's P. O. V.

I can't believe he just kissed me! I can't tell Chres! I ran home and took a shower. I stood there waiting. Waiting for something to happen. Nothing happened of course. I started thinking, maybe life just wants to be a rollercoaster. Drop me down and pick me back up at the last minute. I got out and got dressed in my all black out fit. A black "Geek" halter top with a black leather jacket, my black "Trill" beanie, a pair of black half spiked shorts and my spiked wedges. I looked in mirror as I put on some lotion. I grabbed my dads keys to the Benz and ran out the door. I drove down to the AppleBees on the corner. When I got there I parked and walked inside.

Waitress: August? Party of 2?

Me: Yes!

She walked me over to a table and Chres pulled out my chair.

Me: Thank you.

Him: Yeah. Welcome.

It was still awkward from before. He sat down and looked at the menu. He didn't want to look at me.

Me: Okay, I get it. You're upset. But I don't know why!

Chres: And what makes you think I'm upset?

He still didn't look up.. he just raised his eyebrows.

Me: You're looking at the menu. We've been here a million times. You know what you want!

Chres: What if I want to switch it up? I should ha-

He got cit off by our friends Sydnei and Legacy walking over to us.

Syd: Hey! What are you guys doing here?

Me: Hunting elephants Syd!!

Syd: Don't get slapped.

Me: Yo!! We can go Roc and Ray!!!!!!

We both laughed!

(A/N: Only me and my cousin's will get this because it actually happened.)

Legacy: Umm...what?

They sat down next to us at the table.

Chres: Who is Roc?

Me and Syd stopped laughing. Roc was an old friend of ours. He was killed in a drive by shooting a few years back. He could sing, dance, and rap. When me and Chres would play around he reminded me of him.

Me: Just a uh, an old friend.

Syd: Yeah. So... who's ready to order?

We all nodded as our waitress walked up to us. She looked about early 20's. Very pretty. Short. She took our orders and winked at Legacy. I was relieved and worried all at the same time. Relieved because I wouldn't have to whoop her ass for winking at my man. But worried because Syd would. And just as I predicted, she was ready to go.

Syd's P. O. V.

I know this bitch didn't! I got up and walked behind her. Legacy got up and grabbed my arm but I snatched it away. I walked up to the waitress and tapped her on the shoulder, she spun around.

Her: How may I help you?

Me: Stop winking at my man and everything will be fine.

I squinted my eye's at her.

Her: Excuse me but isn't it past your bed time? Go home. And let a real woman take care of him. M'kay?

She's testing me. I walked up closer closing the gap between us and whispered in her ear,

Me: Say one word to him, look at him, breathe the same air around him, even think about thinking about him sand I'll see you after your shift. That's a promise. I pushed her back and went to sit down.

Honey: Syd# Why'd you do that?

Me: If I wouldn't have she woulda done it again. Thinking her ass is slick. But she ain't.

Moments later our food came and we ate.

Legacy: That was good. But I'm stuffed, we'll see you guys later.

We got up,paid our half of the bill and left.

Chresanto's P. O. V.

I didn't talk to Honey alone all night. But I would when we got home. I paid the tab and we left. She pulled into the drive way first and I pulled in behind her. It was only about 6:30pm. We still had the whole night. I got out and walked to her door and pulled it open. She got out and we walked into the house. Her parents were both gone, working late tonight. We layed put on the couch...Still silent. I didn't know what to say. I felt bad. But I finally found the words.

Me: I'm sorry.

Her: It's Okay. But I'm sorry to.

Me: For what?

I sat up and looked at her confused.

Her: Jacob kissed me...

Sorry it's short. Had a deadline!
