School was shit as usual. I have homework and God knows, I'm not going to do them.

Of course mom wasn't home. So I asked Owen if he wanted to order pizza.

Not knocking on the door, I opened it. "Hey, do you want--" I stopped my self when I see him doing something odd yet familiar.

I gasped, "Owen! What the fuck?!"

"Bailey--It's not it's a--" I cut him off.

"Have you been doing drugs this whole time?!" I grab the white powder out of his hand. "How long have you been doing this?" He clenches his jaw and doesn't answer. "Answer me!"

"A year!" He yells back at me. "That's why Bethany broke up with me."

I was speechless. No wonder why his eyes were red all the time. I should have known.

"Are you out of your fucking mind? Cocaine? Do you know what this shit does to you?"

"Im clearly out of my mind." He Murmurs. "I'm not dumb, Bailey."

"Well your going to be if you keep doing this." I raise the white powder. "Im telling mom." I say and walk out the door to my room to grab my phone.

"Don't you fucking call mom!" He runs after me.

I lock my door, "It's for your own good, Owen."

"Bailey!" He repeatedly knocks on my door. "Open the door!"

I dialled moms number and called her. In the second ring she answered.

"Mom?"

"What's wrong?" She asks worried.

"I walked in on Owen sniffing."

"Sniffing what honey?"

Are you fucking kidding me.

"Jesus. Cocaine mom."

Owen jiggles the door knob. "Open the damn door, Bailey." He starts kicking it.

"Stay in there and wait for me. I'm coming right now." She hangs up.

"Fuck you." Owen says. I hear him go in his room and slam the door.

Few minutes later, I hear the front door
open.

"Bailey?" I hear mom as she runs up the stairs.

I open my door. James was behind mom, worried. I gave them the bag of cocaine.

"Where is he?" Mom yells and opens his door. When the door opened it, slammed on the wall. "Is this true?!" She holds the bag up to Owen.

He hesitated, unsure of what to say. "What do you think?"

Mom slaps Owen across the face. He stays there for a moment. "How long have you been doing this?"

"A year."

Mom rubs her temple and let's out a shaky laugh. "Are you fucking kidding me!" Mom slaps Owen again.

He hisses at the pain, "Alright, ground me for a year, I don't care." He yells at her.

"Oh I'm not grounding you." Mom points at Owen. "Your going to rehab."

"Maybe we should leave." James whispers and pushes me out the door.
