TWENTY-TWO: Part 1

~ Drea pov ~

"Saxton.. "

He shook his head yes,

His face was still bruised and battered,

Pushing the food away I leaned over and gently held his face in my hands,

"I thought you were gone, " I said so only he could hear,

He leaned up and pecked my lips,

I was so happy to see him I didn't resist,

He got up and dropped a 50 on the table,

He pulled me up and out the restaurant,

"Where's your car, " he said,

I pointed to the Camaro and he smiled,

" You have good taste" he said walking me to it,

I got in the drivers seat and he got in beside me,

We sat in silence,

I kept looking at him making sure this wasn't my imagination,

"Saxton.... how are you..... alive? "

"After Jason left me for dead, some guys found me, I wasn't dead just unconscious, he shot my Arm and my shoulder "

"Can I see.. " I asked hesitantly,

He took off his Tee shirt and I saw the 2 wounds,

My eyes widened I ran my fingers gently over the skin,

He moaned a little,

"I'm sorry! I didn't mean to hurt you! " I pulled away quickly,

He chuckled,

"it felt good, relax" he said caressing my face,

"What happened after that" I said, laying in the seat,

" Well they got me to the hospital and I was rushed into surgery, they said I was a very lucky guy, "

I listened closely not wanting to miss a word,

"Any longer out there I would've died, " he said ,

The thought of him leaving again, scared me,

I embraced him and he held me tighter,

"I missed you so much Saxton, " I said in his hair,

"I missed you too kitten, " he whispered,

We sat there like that and enjoyed each others presence,

~ Jason pov ~

Taking another swallow of the vodka, I start to cry again,

"Drea..." I whimpered quietly, sitting on the floor,

We looked all day long and couldn't find her,

It's only been a few hours away from her and I'm losing it,

I locked myself in our room and began drinking,

I chugged the rest of the bottle and threw it at the wall breaking it,

Along with the other 2 I had drank, grabbing my phone I looked at my lockscreen,

It was Drea snuggled around me sleeping,

"Please Come back....... " I said to the picture as if she could hear me,

"I'll do anything for you, I just can't live without you babygirl " I slurred still talking to the screen

' I would rather be dead than live without her.... '
