Being the only one left in the room besides the four men and my sister, I was left with a very hast and unsettling decision. Looking at the only person I’ve ever known in my short and meaningless life of twenty years, I choose her. I choose to give my life up for my older sister whom turned against me at a very early age. Voicing my choice, I’m then taken and locked up in the second floor, third bedroom to the left for god knows how long.

A week passes until I see another living thing. I’ve been getting my food from the levy that sends it up from the kitchen. I know not to try and escape and follow the eerie creature in front of me all the way down to the main floors office after it fetched me from my room I’ve gotten quite acquainted with. Sliding the doors open it gestures for me to enter. Following instructions I slowly walk in and stand next to the large chair in front of the desk. Fidgeting with my hands, I ponder what is about to happen in the following moments. Surely they wouldn’t kill me, they gave me an option all ready and I choose to stay and let my sister live freely, unlike her at the moment I thought. They couldn’t have found me useless so soon.

"Sit." I hear a gruff, monotone voice telling me, scaring me out of my thoughts as well. Complying with his request I sit, folds her hands in her lap and stares at my hands, avoiding him and his stare, waiting for him to finally talk to me.

"What is your name?" he says after almost five minutes of silence of what I assume is him staring at her, calculating what I am capable of. Not much I think to myself. Realizing she has yet to answer his question I quickly answers, "Callie" keeping her voice quiet.

"Well Callie, it seems we are in a predicament. Since our main guy isn’t here I can’t make any final decision on you, but I am in charge so I am going to keep you under lock and key for two more days. When he arrives back a final decision will be made, and you will be moved, any questions?" I remain quiet after he’s done talking, keeping my head down. "No? Good. Have a nice night." With that said he leaves the room without another word and I rise to walk out where I know there is someone out there for me.

Two more days pass slowly. I wake up, eat, pace around, and sleep. On the afternoon of the ninth day of being in this house I’m yet again in the office waiting for the arrival of their ‘main guy’. After almost an hour of staring at the full moon outside the door opens and this time I look up to see a very handsome but also creepy looking man in his mid 20’s walking to the back of his desk and sitting down. Busying himself with papers he doesn’t notice me quit yet until another man similar to him but shorter and less muscular than the first. I don’t realize until he speaks that this is the man that talked to me two days ago. "Sir" he speaks, "this is Callie, our little problem." Gee thanks I think but end up forgetting about his rudeness towards me when ‘sir’ looks up at me with the most mesmerizing eyes. "Collin. Leave" he speaks after a few seconds.

"Yes sir." Collin replies closing the doors behind him. Leave Mr. Muscles and I alone.

"Stand up and look at me." He says after seeing my lack of eye contact. Complying I stand and look at those eyes once again and end up mesmerized all over again.

After a minute he glides even closer and grabs my hand then confidently states, "My name is Gabriel, and you are my mate." And I don’t think I’ve been happier.
