This Is Fate But I Love You

Chapter 1

(So this is kinda a spoiler, so please make sure you watched the two seasons fully before reading this! Please! I do not own the characters.)

Zero stood a distance from Emperor's Lelouch's ride.

He drew his sword, and pointed it towards Emperor Lelouch.

Zero then put the sword away, and started to run towards the ride. Jeremiah prepared himself, but Zero was too quick for him.

"Go, if this is what the majesty wanted, then you do it..." Jeremiah said quietly, as Zero went past him.

Nunnally watched as Zero ran to Lelouch.

Lelouch stood and pulled out his gun, but Zero hit it away with his leg.

The gun flew out of Lelouch's grasp. He smiled softly.

Zero drew his sword and pointed it towards Lelouch.

"Suzaku, you have to kill me. You must promise." Lelouch said calmly.

"You're going through with this? No matter what?" Suzaku said eagerly.

"As planned, the hatred of the whole world now focused directly upon me. And now the only thing that remains is to get rid of me, and finally break the cycle of hatred." Lelouch said smoothly, handing Suzaku the Zero helmet.

"The legend of Zero is in dept. He lies within the hearts of the black knights. Snchinzel will serve Zero also. With this, the world will gather not for exchange of force, but for an exchange of dialogue around one table. Mankind will be able to move forward into the future." Suzaku placed both hands on the mask of Zero and took it in his hands.

"And that?" Suzaku asked.

"Yes."

"Is the Zero requiem."

"We both realized, back in C's world, we knew how humanity was longing for the future." Suzaku said calmly. Lelouch laughed.

"Hey Suzaku? Geass power is similar to a wish, don't you think?" Suzaku sighed.

"It's the request to someone to give you the power to achieve something that you can't on your own." Lelouch said.

"A wish? No-"

"Yes. And I'm going to grant a wish called geass to all the people everywhere. For the future of the entire world." Lelouch said.

"The only ones who should kill, are the ones prepared to be killed."

Zero readied his sword, and aimed at Lelouch's stomach.

"Suzaku... You're going to be a hero now..."

Zero impaled Lelouch.

Lelouch leaned forward, and grabbed hold of Zero's shoulders.

Tears formed in Zero's eyes, and streamed down his face.

He quickly took the sword out of Lelouch, and threw off the helmet in time to catch Lelouch.

The crowd gasped.

"Lelouch... Come on... Don't die! I-I didn't want you to go through with this... But you did! Please! Oh please don't die!" Suzaku said setting Lelouch down on the ground and sitting next to him.

"Suzaku... You're letting them.... know, that you're.... Zero..." Lelouch said slowly.

"I don't care about that!" Suzaku yelled.
