Chapter 19

Chris' POV

"Get away from me" Celeste said as tears rolled down her face and she tried to push me away. "Red!" She yelled. Her ears down as she trembled

My eyes widened. She just hit me with the safety word. I promised her I would keep her safe and she safe worded me. I let go of her arms.

"Red! Red! Red!" She said pushing me away. A nurse rushed in as Nila came to Celeste' side.

"Ssshh it's ok baby girl" Nila tried to calm her down as I was asked to step out of the room. Her ears were down in sadness.

Celeste' POV

"RED!" i yelled. how could they let him in the room. i need Chris He said he would protect me and here Mike is in the room.

"Celeste baby its ok" Nila tried to calm me down. i was shaking as the nurse fixed my Ivys. a man in a white lab coat stepped in the room as he put his glasses over the bridge of his nose.

"Mrs. Eclair" he spoke as he pulled out a little white tube; a flashlight. he shone a light in my eyes as the nurse stepped away. he checked my vitals. "everything seems to be going well" he said softly "what is the last thing you remember?" he asked.

"i remember getting pushed off the bed buy a women" i spoke quietly. i felt presure around my hand it was Nila squeezing it. "wheres Chris?" i asked Nila "i want Chris" i whispered like a child ashamed of admitting they had done something bad. I felt my ears hug my head in shame and my tail tighten around my waist

"i'll get him" she spoke letting go of my hand. the doctor proceeded to look at other things on the screen of a computer next to my bed.

"how many fingers am i holding up Mrs. Eclair?" he asked

"3" i said looking at his hand that he held up.

the door opened Nila stepped into the room with Mike in tow. i brought the white blanket close to me as my eyes widened. Was this a cruel joke. why is mike here.

"hes sick he cant speak right now he lost his voice but he's recovering" Nila said. "he says hes here for you" Nila added. he pulled the chair closer to the bed as he took my hand. my eyes watered. i want Chris this isnt Chris

"Red" i whispered "Red" i spoke louder."RED!" i yelled out "i want Chris please take me to Chris i need Chris"i said shaking Mikes hand off. we had other 2 people in the room so Mike couldnt hit me no matter how bad he wanted to

"baby girl" Nila said as tears rolled down her cheek "that is Chris" she said a worried expression upon her face.

"no no NO! get him away please get him away i want chris i want chris please take me with chris"i began to cry. is she trying to get me killed. "red" i began to take my ivys out. i ripped them out as Mike stood up. i have to get away.

"stop Celeste" Nila said. i jumped out of bed and the doctor began to rush towards me with a needle in his hand.

"no why are you doing this to me" I made a move for the door and began running down the hall Mike closely behind and the doctor not far. My tears blurred my vision and i stubbed my toe on a wheel chair which cause me to trip and fall. Mike pounced on me straddling me and pinning my arms slightly above my head. i looked him in the eyes they were red and watery.

"i wont go with you."i said sternly as the doctor made it to his side. i began thrashing "let me go" i said thrashing harder as i felt the doctor inject me with something "you don't know what hes capable of!" i began to cry again. i kneed him in his jewels making him groan and let me go. but that was in vain when i saw 2 men in white scrubs run down the hall towards me.
