I was walking down the block of my school from the coy pond as I saw Dakota. She smiled and jogged toward me.
"Want to grab breakfast and some coffee? I need to talk to you about something."
"Sure, but class starts in about 2 hours, so we should start walking there now."
We had arrived at the coffee shop in a matter of minutes, Dakota looking scared but hopeful at once. We grabbed our coffees and our breakfast, we walked to a table that looked cleaner than the others. We sat down, Dakota looking reading to talk.
"I like you, you're pretty, smart, athletic, and everything I've ever loved"
It took seconds before I realized she liked me, and how she just confessed.
"Well I don't know a lot about you, but I'll give you a shot." I had said.
I didn't want to get serious quickly so I decided not to tell her that she was everything I had ever wanted as well.
I checked my phone for the time as I noticed we only had 20 minutes to get to campus.
"We should leave now or else we could be late."
I took a sip of my coffee as Dakota and I crossed the street.
"You know, all of the boys like you even though you're lesbian. They think you could be bisexual, although you're not."
I was concerned for the boys in my college, they were "kawaii" as some would call it, I call them crazy. They would use sleds when it wasn't snowing, which made everyone concerned.
But they wanted love, so they got one. Almost every boy had a girlfriend, but the couples were probably deeply in love. The boys would sneak into the girls bathrooms and they would make out and would "get it on." And that was very disturbing if you ask me.
