I looked at Ailah with a confused look on my face and asked "What?" AILAH looked at me an out her hands in her pockets and said "Yeah she has changed her phone number and everything..." Niall looked almost sick and said "That explains why she wouldn't answer my calls or texts." Ailah nodded..
I looked over at Ashley's heart monitor and it was going "Beep beep beep" just as it should. I looked at Ashley in her eyes and put my hand near hers. I looks down at my hands and saw Ashley move her hand into mine. I smiled and looked at her. I felt her grip loosen a little bit and I looked up and "Beep beep beep" Good everything is fine... For now. Zayn wales over to me and said "You going to be okay?" I shook my head and said "I'm really not sure Zayn" I meant it to I didn't really know what was going to happen to Ashley.
"Beep beep beep beep." I just had to keep checking to know she was okay. I squeezed her hand a little and she squeezed back. Then her hand went loose again. "Beep beep beep." What was I going to do when it stopped beeping? What would Ailah do? Ailah and Ashley looked so much alike.
If Ashley died I would always see her in Ailah. How would I live with that? I looked at Ashley's hair which was now brown with a little blonde at the bottom. Ashley looked at me and I felt my heart speed up a little. Ashley then said "Liam?" My heart dropped.
I stood up and Ailah rushed over to Ashley and I said "Ashley? You can hear?" Ashley looked around and said "Yeah I could always hear. I just never wanted to talk it hurts to much." I felt all the boys right behind me.
"Ashley I. I like you a lot." I said. Ashley looked at me and said "Liam I' pregnant from the night we met. I mean look at my stomach. I'm sor-" Ashley was then interrupted by her heart monitor "Beeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeep" the line was straight unlike 5 minutes ago. Doctors rushed in pushing us out of the door. When all of us got out side Ailah said "Well... What now?" Louis looked at Ailah and said "What do you mean what now?" Ailah looked at all of us and said "Oh yeah I forgot to mention that the doctors said that once her heart stops there is only is only a tiny chance of her living." All of the boys heads turned and looked at me. I felt tears going down my face. How was Ailah so calm. I guess she has prepared herself. I needed to pull myself together...
I looked around and everybody was looking at me and I couldn't take it. I turned around and ran outside. I got into the car with tears going down my face. I started to drive not knowing were I was gonna go.
I came to a stop in middle of a dirt road about 30 miles out of town. I looked around and thought "Were am I? Ashley is back there dying. I'm being selfish. But maybe Ashley was right I don't even know her maybe I should just forget her." I went to go grab my phone to call Niall.
But I had just remembered I dropped it in my room and didn't pick it up. I guess I better drive back then. "What if Ashley is already dead?" I thought to myself. Suddenly the car stopped. I looked at the gas and it was empty. How does this happened to me? I got out of the car and started to walk when it started pouring down rain.
"Great just my luck!" I muttered to myself. Through the rain I saw a little house. I ran up to it and knocked. No reply so I opened the door and it was empty. I saw a barn next it and hoped maybe some gas was in there. I ran over to the barn and there was a lock on it.
It was rusted and pretty old so I just kicked it a couple times and it fell off along with a chain. I ran into the barn. When I walked in there were things scattered every where. It seemed to be untouched for years. I moved things around and finally I found an empty gas tank. "Really?" I thought.
I through the tank in anger. I heard it hit the hall and I turned to watch it bounce to the floor next to another gas tank. I walked over to it and it was empty. I moved more things around until I found a letter.
It said "Today is June 7 1897 and today I turn 14. I'm still in the barn waiting to see if my parents will ever come home. I'm even more sick then last week and I feel as if it is going to be my last birthday. I don't know why I write anymore. Nobody is even here. Everybody left the town when the accident happened.
But they have left only one person behind and it was me. If you are reading this then it is probably in the 1900's and I'm no longer around. I hope the town is much better then it was before. Please take care if my home I love it. It has its own little mind almost.. I love it here. Now I want to show you my favorite place to go. I keep things in this room like food gas money blankets pillows just things if I fm ever need them. Now walk out of the barn into the house. Once you get into the house turn left and walk for about 100 feet then turn left again and it should just be a wall now walk along that hall until you hear the flirt board squeak now lift it up and there is a key. Now rip the wall paper until you find a slot to put the key in. Now you are in the room! Bye!

I followed all over her steps an opened the room. It was very very small but there was a gas tank that was full. I put the key an letter in pocket and ran out to my car. I filled it up and rushed to the hospital. When I got there the boys and Ailah weren't in the hall way. I grabbed the handle of the door and slowly opened it.
I opened the door and Niall looked at me with tears all over his face and all rest of the boys were all looking down and I could hear there sobs. Ailah and Niall walked over to me. I asked "Were is Ashley?!" Niall said "It's okay Liam!"
Ailah did a half smile and said "I mean she's in a better place." I looked at them and said "I was going to be a dad..."
Ailah looked at me and said "Liam you still are. She gave birth to her. She is in special care right now." I looked at Niall and said "I'm having a baby girl?"
Niall looked at me and shook his head. Then I said "A baby girl who will never get to meet her mom." I then put my head down "I wasn't even here for her birth or anything." Ailah looked at me and said "Liam it all just happened so quickly." I looked up and started to cry and said "Just like the night I met her. I shouldn't have made her do anything with me then this little girl wouldn't have to grown up without a mom! I hate myself for it!" I fell to the ground crying. Rest of the boys came over to me.
"Liam at least she is out of pain." Zayn said patting my back. I looked up and asked "Can I see my little girl?" Ailah helped me up and we walked to a room. There was my little girl. She was beautiful she was so small and dark brown hair.
She had bright green eyes with slits of blue all around in them just like Ashley's. a nurse came up and asked "Are you the father of this child?" I looked at her and said "Yes I am." She nodded and asked "What are you going to name her?" I knew I had to name her after Ashley that will be her middle name.
"Alizea Ashley Payne" I said with tears going down my face. The nurse wrote it down and asked "Spelled like this?" I nodded. As she walked away she said "I'm sorry for your loss." I couldn't believe Ashley was gone. I loved her so much.
I asked the nurse "How long will my daughter have to be here?" The nurse looked at me and said "We think only a month because she is doing great she's doing everything she should be doing. She's eating normal breathing normal has everything she needs to live. But she only has one kidney." I looked at her and said "As do I." The nurse looked at me and said "Oh then she must have gotten that from you!"
Then she wrote something down. Then said "Would you like to hold her?" I nodded my head and as Alizea was out into my arms I felt like Ashley was standing next to me. I looked at Alizea and said "I promise you Alizea I will be the best dad even though you don't have mommy around I will always be here for you!" I felt tears going down my face as I put Alizea back into her bed.
