The building looms ominously, abnormally large windows gaping open, darkness pouring out. An intimidating aura emanates from the structure, daring you to go in and challenge the terrors it contains. Trees sway in a chilling breeze; the dilapidated branches creak and moan, adding to the creepiness of the edifice. A murder of crows circle above in a dark sky.
The gravel road in front of the building remains empty, save for the filth that has accumulated due to lack of groundskeeping. Unkempt grass writhes in the gusts, and any animal dumb enough to stay close to the building scurries away. Something in relation to a moan escapes the building- the wind pulling through its decomposing body. Leaves clatter across the road. Thunder rumbles in the distance.
A light turns on inside.
There has been no electricity in the building for over two centuries.
Tall and imposing, a man's shadow passes in front of the light. It pauses in the mouth of the window, then raises a hand that only has three fingers; claws, rather. The figure smiles, then vanishes without a trace. A laugh carries on the wind, deep and demonic. The light turns off.
Despite the fact that this building is abandoned, it has never once been empty.
