The dark haired man stood at the end of the gravel drive, admiring the looming structure before him. Blocky glasses dominated most of his face, while a small mustache and goatee attractively tickled his firm mouth. His jawline was sharp, and shoulders broad, muscular. The hint of a tattoo peeked out from underneath his tight shirt. The man's muscular arms almost looked like they could lift a car, and his height was intimidating. The wind didn't faze him at all; his hair also refused to submit to it due to the sheer amount of gel applied.
Intelligent and analytical, his green eyes raked the property, taking in everything. He saw the way the corners of the building drooped, how the trees bent and cackled, and the decaying drapery fluttering in the mouths of the windows. He heard the complaints of the old edifice, the screams of the circling crows, the moans of the trees. The scents of death and decay reached him suddenly, and he could feel the malicious and malevolent energy of the building attack him. Taken aback, he dropped his head.
Two new men appeared on his flanks. On the left, a large, bald man. A scruffy dark beard covered his chin; small eyes sat underneath large eyebrows, next to a blocky nose. He held a camcorder in his right hand, and was spanning the width of the property.
The second man was much more imposing. Lean and tall, hair stylishly cut, he stood with a purpose. Tight and black, his shirt emphasized his muscular body, and made his dark eyes appear darker. His eyes scanned the area like a hawk. Suddenly, his eyebrows furrowed, and he stepped back, shaking his head. He, too, could feel all of the negative energy, feel everything that had happened here previously. Evil emanated from every pore of the building, and the three men could certainly feel it.
Shaking himself out of his reverie, the dark haired man in the middle turned to the other two, and nodded. He informed them of what he could feel, and then gestured for them to follow. Striding purposefully, he lead down the gravel walk. The other two men followed, preparing themselves to enter the house.
