Lucy's Choice

This story is mostly Lucy's P.o.V. so just deal with it.

I entered the guild quietly and nervously, feeling like I was going to act weird in front of everyone. Especially Natsu. I was going to ask a certain someone but that would mean being in front of everyone. So I came to the guild an hour before Mira came into the guild.

When I entered, I saw 1st, 3rd, Laxus, and Gildarts. It's a good thing because I need to talk to these four actually. That is why I was feeling weird this morning. But when I saw 1st, I felt relief wash over me as I walked towards them very quietly. I am so nervous, I couldn't think straight when I faced them.

"What is it, child?" Master asked me worriedly. Probably because I am being cautious, trying to make sure that Mira and the others are not yet here. Especially this early. I am so worried that Master is going to try and stop me from leaving.

"1st, can you train me to become stronger?" I asked Master Mavis directly, which caused her and the other three to be shocked. "What are you saying, Lucy?" Gildarts asked me with a serious tone once he returned to his senses drom the shock. "Yeah. And what do you mean by 'become stronger'?" Laxus also asked me with a serious tone which caused me to feel a shiver of electricity crawl down to my spine.

"Here's the thing....

I was about to ask Mira if she could make me my favorite smoothie when Natsu came in front of me, along with the rest of Team Natsu. This is the 3rd month since Lisanna arrived and Natsu and the others just started to talk to me now. 'Why now???' I thought to myself as I smiled at Team Natsu, even though Natsu has a serious and determined face while the others have a face that looked like they're about to break down from crying.

"Hey there, Natsu, minna. What's wrong? Why are you guys so down??" I asked minna what was wrong when I felt a punch hit me directly in the face.  When I checked who was the source of the punch, only to realize that Natsu's hand was clenched into fists with flames erupting from each.

"Natsu? What's wrong?? Why did you punch me???" I asked as tears threatened to fall down my cheeks and as Mira and my other friends came to help me. Especially Wendy.

I don't know why Natsu punched me but then I realized something....

I'm too weak.

So pathetic.

I'm the weakest member of the strongest team in Fairy Tail.

I'm a hopeless person.

I told them every single moment that happened. I cried as I told them the story when 1st was still in Tenrōjima, when 3rd went to a regular meeting, and when both Laxus and Gildarts are in seperate missions. 1st is the one that sooth me down while I tell the story to them. I hugged Master Mavis as Master Makarov, Laxus, and Gildarts hugged me as if I were a dear family to them.

"You don't need to worry, child." Master reassured me with a smile as we broke the hug. "So, what's your answer, 1st?" I asked Master Mavis as I wiped the tears away from my eyes. It took her a while until she nodded to Master Makarov, Laxus, Gildarts..... and then finally Me. My eyes started to gleam, shining, as I realized that I was going to be trained under Mavis Vermillion, the Tactician.

We waited for a few hours but I only sticked to these four as more members kept coming until noon. We didn't mind waiting because we were talking through 3rd's telepathy which has a wall so that Warren couldn't hear what we were talking in our minds about.

We were actually talking about our past lives until it came to the upcoming training from Master Mavis. I was told that I am going to train in 4 different worlds. 7 hours in this world is equal to 7000 years in each world. So I will be training for 7000 years per world and it was equal to 28000 years. I will be training under Master Mavis personally for only 7 hours in Tenrōjima and it will be 35 hours of training here in Earthland.

5 minutes before noon and Master Mavis planted seeds under my skin in both ankles and wrists. Master Makarov then told me that these seeds are to grow as limiters to my body. And this limiters will never be removed once planted. But then, I never felt worried about the outcome when the seeds grow out of my skin and blood.

3 minutes before noon and Master Mavis asked me to put my arm on her. I did as I was told and I only had a second to say goodbye to 3rd, Laxus, and Gildarts until Master Mavis and I are transferred to the South part of Tenrōjima Island. When we were teleported there, we noticed that a portal was waiting for what looked like 3 minutes.

I said goodbye to Master Mavis with a smile and went through the portal. I wondered where I was going until I realized that there were dragons in the sky and as they landed a few miles in front of me, a few steps of them running through their feet made thwm slowly turn into humans. I never knew that dragons could turn into humans. That's because we can.

Someone spoke to me until I realized that that person spoke with the same voice as Wendy. When I looked around to see who's the source of the voice, I realized that it was someone that looked exactly like little Wendy but older. She has the same height as me but with long dark blue hair that ended up to her knees. She is wearing very similar clothes to Porlyusica but white, not red.

She smiled  at me and I smiled back until I thought of something.

"Are you, by chance, Wendy's dragon? Grandeeney?"
