A.N: this chapter is deticated to amandagrace, because she was the first one to make me want to write a story and also my first fan. Thanks!<3

"He really did that?" he was clearly shocked.

I sat on Lee’s bed cupping my head in my hands. He said in the chair at his desk.

I had just told him about what had happened in Mr. Phelps office. He had the same reaction as me, only less dramatic.

At least he didn't yell at me.

"Yeah. And the worst thing is that this assignment is important! If we don't make it work it's gonna affect our grades. I can't even yell at him because we actually have to work on this stupid thing!" I said frowning.

"yeah I guess so.." he leant forward in his chair "But hey, look at the bright side" he said, a grin spreading on his face. "you two might actually learn how to be in a room not fighting" he was obviously trying to cheer me up.

It didn't work.

"I can't look at the bright side of this Lee. Just being in a room with him other than the classes we already have together it just makes me want to puke," I don’t know what it is about him, but there’s just something there that i can't stand. "but thanks for trying to cheer me up," I smiled at him and he smiled back but it was clear his mind were somewhere else.

"Okay you need to ask her out soon!" I clapped my hand in front of his face to take him back to reality.

"What?" he asked stupidly. I rolled my eyes.

"Melissa. Melissa Cooper, you have got to ask her out soon," I repeated making sure he got every word this time.

"What would I need to do that for?" he asked. He was blushing and clearly trying to hide it by cupping his head in his hands, covering his cheeks. I smiled.

"Lee you and I both know that you like her! And usually when people likes someone they, they ask that person out. On a date. We both know you want to," I said mockingly, giving him a huge smirk.

He either ignored my smirk or didn't pay much attention to me. I guess the last one.

"Well she is really sweet isn't she? But what if she rejects me?" he looked worried.

He was obviously not sure about this whole asking-Melissa-out thing yet. But I was going to make sure he didn't miss his chance with her.

"She won't reject you! But if you want I can talk to her for you? Just casually ask what she thinks of you" I really wanted to help getting them together. I always loved when people around me became a couple. It was so sweet. But weirdly I never thought about having a boyfriend of my own. I never really needed it, I had enough in myself. For now.

"You would do that?"

"Lee you're my best friend, if course I would do that for you!" he started spinning around in his chair while every time he spun 1 round he grabbed the desk to get more speed for the next round. "You're my best friend too! I would do the same or you, you know that right?"

"Yes I know that Lee but can you please stop spinning around? You're making ME sick!"

I had started feeling a little dizzy just watching him.

"Oh. Yeah. Sorry," he said and stopped spinning around. I looked at my watch and was shocked by the time. It was almost dinner time.

"Damn it! I should get home, my dad will start calling soon asking when I'm coming home," I got up from my seat on Lees bed and stretched my body. I walked to the door and grabbed my back. "Bye Lee,"

"Bye Soph, see you tomorrow," he said when I walked out of his door. I walked out in the great hallway, and down to the front door.

Lee’s house was huge.

On the bottom floor was; the living room, kitchen, small indoor pool (small or big it's still an indoor pool!) and a bathroom.

1st floor had lounge, Lee’s only sister’s bedroom, his parents’ bedroom and two bathrooms. Lee had the whole 2nd floor himself. They weren't exactly rich but they weren't poor either. They were top of the middle class. Lee’s mom worked at the TV-station as producer and she made a lot of money.

I waked out and started walking. My house wasn't that far away and I usually just walk when I go to Lee’s house. I was already looking forward to school tomorrow. I had already planned what I was going to say to Melissa and I had even a manuscript for her too. I was smiling like an idiot all the way back to my house.

My smile quickly vanished when i saw Westler in my kitchen talking to my dad. He was wearing a black leather jacket, a white t-shirt and some worn out jeans. He looked hoooooot.

Wait, what? There was no way i thought of him as hot. He wasn't hot. Just a moment of weakness.

I shook my head and cleared my thoughts.

"What are you doing here?" I asked rudely, a little mad at him for making me think that. Two pair of eyes looked at and my dad said a quick hello and went to watch TV in the living room. Westler just stared at me. Stared, not glared like he always did.

"I'm just here to do the history assignment," he said and kept staring at me.

"Since when do you care about your grades?" Iasked sceptically. He never did his homework and it was senior year; a little late to start caring now.

His eyes went dark in a second. He didn't like it when people asked too many questions, and i knew that. "Can we just do the stupid thing?"

"Fine. Whatever," I gave up arguing with him and we went to my blue colered ugly room and started studying.

A.N: hey guys let me know if you want me to continue!
