All stories have something tragical in the end, don't they? Well the tragedy in this story is that my best friend passed away, while I was shooting the Russians.
There wasn't a funeral for Cameron. We didn't have time, they said. We must fight, not cry.
Officer Quinn persuaded general Carlile to send us all back to England. Well the seven that had survived.
Me and James helped Sam, whose leg was still a bit sore, on the small bus, which took us to airport.
After 8 hours we arrived in England. After 3 hours we seven, me, James, Sam, Jack, Alex,Alan and Cameron Dallas, arrived at the campus.
We got out the bus and I ran to Elizabeth. She gave me a bone-crushed hug, while she was crying in the crock of my neck. The tears were tears from happiness. The war had ended. 4 years after I had left for Russia. 4 years I fought for my country and my love. We won.
