Chapter 5

Katniss-POV (Later that day)

I wake up to my head resting on something else then my pillow.

I look up and see Peeta sleeping soundly.

I look at the clock and see its 2 am.

That was a long nap.

I decide to let Peeta sleep so i get out of his grasp and walk to the shower.

I strip off my clothes and turn on the warm water.

I stay in the shower for 20 minutes until i get out and put on some sweats and a white shirt.

When i get out i see that Peeta has spooned with my pillow.

Probably thinking its me.

I giggle.

Peeta wakes up and sees that he's spooning with a pillow.

He looks up and sees me and blushes darkly.

I smile and walk towards the bed.

I crawl back in and just hug Peeta.

A little taken back, Peeta hugs back.

We sit their until my stomach growls loudly that all of Panem can hear it.

Peeta chuckles, "You hungry?".

I nod my head.

We pull back and stare into each others eyes.

We lean in and kiss.

It's short but passionate.

He gets me off his lap and walks to the doorway.

"Peeta?".

He turns back, "Yeah?".

"I love you".

He smiles, "I love you too, Katniss".

I smile at him and he goes to the kitchen.

About 10 minutes later, Peeta calls that 'Breakfast' is ready.

I walk down to the kitchen and sit at the table.

Peeta puts a plate of lamb stew and cheese buns in front of me.

I smile at him.

We eat our breakfast then go back upstairs.

"Peeta?".

He looks at me.

"Is their something wrong?"I ask him.

He shakes his head and goes in the bathroom.

I sign.

Their's something wrong.

I know it.

He probably misses his family.

I miss mine too.

I've asked him if he wants to go to where the bakery used to be.

But he always denies.

He gets out of the bathroom with sweats, shirtless.

Working at the bakery really paid off.

I feel like the happiest girl in the world.

To have a sweet, handsome man love me.

I smile while i'm thinking of this.

"Katniss? Are you okay?"Peeta says as he laughs.

I blush darkly.

I giggle, "Y-Yes".

He smiles widely.

I hide my face in my pillow and start giggling like crazy.

Peeta starts laughing.

I feel him crawl in with me.

"Babe? Why are you giggling?"Peeta asks laughing.

I shiver when he says 'babe'.

"I don't know".

He laughs and kisses my forehead.

"Can you show me your face?".

I look up at Peeta.

He smiles.

"Did you just call me 'Babe'?"I ask him and blush darkly.

He nods his head and smiles.

I start moving around crazy and giggling.

Peeta starts laughing.

"You okay?"He asks.

I nod my head.

"Peeta?"

"Hm?"He says while stroking my hair.

"Are you sad that......"I say and trail off.

He sits up and looks at me, Telling me to continue.

"Uh, Are you sad that i don't want..... Kids?"I say and taking a hard swallow. 

He looks at the door, And sits silently.

"I don't know, Maybe"He whispers still looking at the door.

"Why don't you want kids...?"He says angrily, I see his eyes getting darker.

"Is it because you.... You MURDERED them?!"

"Pee-" (Peeeeeee)

"It's... It's......It's because YOUR A MUTT!"He says and grabs me from my arms, Digging his fingernails in my arms.

I squeal in pain.

"Please, Peeta, Come back to me!"I yell

"IM NOT PEETA!"He yells and slaps me

Soon his eyes turn back to blue.

My Peeta.

My arms hurt like hell.

"Oh my god! Katniss are you okay?!"He says.

Tears stream down my face.

How could he?

"Please forgive me"He says.

I shake my head and run.

I dont know were to hide.

So i just sink down to the floor.

And cry.

Peeta walks out and trys to walk to me.

But i run into the bedroom and cover myself in the bed.

I hear Peeta walk in and sink next to the bed and cry.

I peek out of the covers and watch him.

I should forgive him, He can't control it.

"Peeta?"I whisper, terrified.

He looks up, his eyes red.

"I forgive you"

He stares at me.

I reach my arms to him, "Come here"

He crawls in bed and i hug him.

"I'm so so sorry"He sobs in the crook of my neck.

"Shhh, It's okay"I say and rub his back.

And after that we spend the whole day with each other, cuddling.

***I wonder if they should have BWEBBIES already.
