The moonlight filters through the woods’ foliage. It is 1865. A teenage girl sits on a rock and weeps. She wears her hair in a ponytail and dresses in man's clothing: a pair of pants with suspenders that now hang loosely and an unmade white shirt. She lights up a cigar and starts to smoke. She is also drinking from a bottle of liqueur. Smoking and drinking, drinking and smoking. Our story begins:

Amidst the girl's confusion,

a cigar and alcohol.

In the middle of the forest,

long, long time ago

cried a girl under a tree.

Her reason; misconception

brought up by the people

who ruined her reputation.

“The girl in men's clothes

to the town has arrived!”

“What on Earth she thinks she's doing?

This is 1865!”

“How ridiculous she looks!”

-Said the people as they laughed.

Something stirs the bushes.

“Who's there? Hello? Hello”!

Asked the girl with a frown

hiding very carefully

the fear she had now.

And then, before you know it...

...from the bushes jumps a clown!

The girl starts to run as she screams,

but the clown in front of her reappears.

He takes his hat off as he speaks.

“Little girl, little girl, please don't leave.

The world awaits to see you.

Not far away from here

sits my stage where famous people

have performed with me for years”.

“But I don't have a performer's heart.

I cannot act at all”.

“But the entire world is waiting

to see how you perform.

You can now earn the applause

from those who abhorred before”.

The clown grabs her by the arm and starts to walk. Actually, the clown does the walking. The girl is completely off her feet. Just like a kid walking happily with a balloon.

And so they walked together,

the clown dragging the girl.

They stopped at fate's expenses

when they saw, quite inexpensive,

a wooden, well-lit stage.

A stage sits right in the middle of a ring of trees. The clown and the girl walk closer to the stage.

“Backstage we must go.

It's best to get you ready”.

They entered the back door
