Dan's POV

"What the fuck happened!" I shout, "Why do we look like each other?" This is not a situation I thought would ever happen.

"I think we swapped bodies, and please don't swear in my body, it's not used to it." he replies in my voice with a half offended half disturbed look on his(/my) face, which I never knew I could pull. God this is bloody weird.

"Seriously Phil? Your biggest worry is if I swear in your body?" I couldn't help it. How was he so much calmer than I was? To be fair it did sound slightly strange hearing Phil swear. Of course it wasn't Phil though. It was me. "How are you so calm?"

"I'm not Dan, I'm really not. I'm just as freaked out on the inside as you are on the outside." he says, "But if we want to back in our right bodies then we should figure out why and how this happened and we can't do that while we're freaking out." Wow. I can't remember Phil ever being this serious and in control before, funnily enough, he was finally acting his age.

"Okay, so where do we start?" I ask.

"Shower, get dressed and then breakfast." he grins at the thought of breakfast.

"Wouldn't that be a bit- well you know: awkward?" I state hearing my voice go high, well, Phil's voice actually, as his voice does that when in a nervous, scary or awkward situation.

"Just...don't look I guess."Phil says awkwardly exiting the doorway to our bathroom.

As soon as he leaves, I walk over to the mirror to get a look at myself again (Phil anyway). I slide my hand through my hair, it's so straight and soft and actually looks like a mix between blue and black in the lighting of Phil's room. Also shorter than my own hair. His shoulders are really broad! How did I not realize that before? The eyes are a deeper blue than they usually are, making the color remind me of the sea. I just realize how the black hair and blue eyes match his pale skin incredibly. I shake my head releasing me from my thoughts and start deciding what to wear for the day.

Phil's POV

I can barley walk in Dan's body, my limbs keep flailing around. I also feel much taller even though he's only half an inch taller than me. His clothes are too black for me so I go to my room and put on my yellow Jake from Adventure Time hoodie, normal black skinny jeans and some colorful miss matching socks; obviously. Dan actually looks good in colors, he should wear them more often, checking my outfit in the mirror, I laugh as I see Dan's secret hobbit hair which he hates. I must've forgotten to straighten it. Maybe I should leave it, just to slightly annoy him. Yeah, let's do that.

Apparently I'm not the only one being annoying with my style choices, I notice walking (slightly stumbling) into the kitchen for coffee. The first thing I see is myself wearing Dan's grey rhino horn hoodie, black jeans, black socks, and the weirdest part; my hair in a quiff! It's strange yet not completely horrifying. He turns around from making coffee and cereal and notices me.

"Oh my God Phil, my eyes hurt!" he shouts. Then suddenly widens his eyes and points at my hair with actual horror on his face. "How dare you?" he whispers. "Straighten it now."

Something in his eyes, and the way they're grey which my eyes rarely are, as I'm never really angry, makes me take him seriously. I quickly turn around without question and find the straighteners. I come back in about 5-10 minutes with hair perfectly Dan style and walk into the lounge. He's staring at my hair in the mirror and...chuckling?

"I actually like your hair with a quiff," he starts, now facing me. "I know practically 90% of the male population have quiffs, or aspire to have them, but still, not bad."

"Thanks, I guess. Also I think you look good in colors. Wear them more often Dan." I say, sitting down on the couch turning on the tv to "The Great British Bake Off" as Dan sat down as well and passed me some coffee and cereal.

"Seriously Phil?" he asks, a amused look on his face, "Great British Bake Off again?"

"It's a tradition!" I exclaim.

"What, getting up at 11am to watch baking programs? Yeah Phil we're such wannabes aren't we." He says with sarcasm, smiling, and starting to eat his cereal.

I giggle and start to eat my own, maybe this situation won't be as bad as I thought.

(A/N I'm not quite sure what this is as I wrote this at 1am but whatever, hope you guys like it!)
