_The following day_
"Hey. Is everything okay? You didn't come back to work yesterday," Hanson spoke; approaching Jo as she poured herself a cup of break room coffee. -It more often than not tastes like dirt, but she's been desperately in need a pick-me-up this morning.
"Yeah. Great actually," she smiled; recalling the hours of snuggling they'd done up until dinner, which was comprised of Abigail's chicken soup, dinner rolls, and a chat/impromptu dance lesson out on Henry's balcony-under the stars.

_Yesterday evening_
"Is this really necessary? I have months to learn," Jo said; reluctantly setting her silverware down, and getting to her feet. "Yes. Now come closer. You know I won't bite.. Unless you'd like me to," Henry joshed. Rolling her eyes; she stepped forward, and bit her lip to suppress a girlish grin. -She's never been able to help the smile that comes to her face when she's close to him- The welcoming heat radiating off of him, the musky smell of his cologne, the way their bodies seem to fit together like two perfect pieces of a puzzle.. All of these combined factors make her head swim and her heart pound.
-A knowing smile playing across Henry's lips; he placed his daydreaming partner's left hand on his upper arm, and his right arm on her shoulder blade; being taken a-back as she met his gaze. -The twinkle in her big brown eyes reminded him of the one present the night she showed up at the shop with her suitcase, looked him in the eyes, and said she didn't know why she didn't want to go to Paris with Isaac. -She (looked, and) looks so..vulnerable.. so hopelessly in love.
"Alright.. We're moving in an anti-clockwise direction.. There's three beats a bar. Follow my lead, and by this, I mean do the opposite of what I do," he instructed; trying to rid of the lovestruck haze now surrounding both of them.
-Jo nodding her head in comprehension; it seemed that from the second he stepped forward on his left foot and her backwards, their footwork was nearly completely in sync; Jo stumbling a few times, but going practically unnoticed.
-She stared thoughtfully at his eyes(though not directly into them), and contemplated what it might be like a few months from now when they dance their first married dance in front of family and friends. -Hopefully she'd be a bit better by then-she thought; Henry giving her an elegant twirl, and stepping forward rather than moving with the flow of the movement. He let her turn half way before slickly placing her previously raised arm around his neck, and salaciously sliding his hands down along her curves; pressing his hip bones into her rump, and burying his face in her neck. Deeply inhaling the flowery scent of her hair; he swiftly raised his head: wanting to keep his wits about him, and..

_Present Day_
"Jo? You there?" Hanson asked; snapping two fingers in front of her face as coffee flowed over the top of her chunky blue mug. "Yeah. Sorry," she blushed; setting the coffee pot down. "Hey, 'least it's always cold right?" Hanson chuckled. "Yeah," she smiled charmingly: still not completely there. "You need constant supervision don't you?" Henry teased; sneaking behind her with a few paper towels in hand. "Look whose talking," she scoffed; biting her lip as he placed a casual hand on her hip, and closed in the space between them. "You missed a few spots with your makeup this morning. Would you care to borrow my scarf to cover those?" He whispered; the mere proximity of his lips to her skin causing her to shutter. "Yes please," she murmured; Hanson watching in amusement. -The Doc made her act in a shy, girlish manner that the Detective had never before seen in her.
-Speak of the devil, Henry turned Jo around to face him, and removed his scarf; revealing a neck speckled with nasty looking hickeys of all shapes and sizes. He placed the scarf around her neck, and used it to tug her closer: her eyes wide, and bright. "You guys up for some fieldwork? We can take my car," Hanson interrupted; awkwardly clearing his throat. -He's noticed that (like all people who are truly in love) they seem to forget anyone is around when they're together. "Yes. Let's," Henry smiled.
