Reaching your arms towards the ceiling of your new-found bedroom, you let a yawn pry open your jaw. You blinked your dazed, (e/c) eyes open, letting the lids still droop. Sitting up slowly, you thought about the day before. You met your neighbor's yesterday, and.. they were different. Isn't everyone different? Eh. With a mere shrug, he swung your legs over the bed and stood up, stretching your arms up once more. Staring at your closet beforehand, you flung the white-painted, wooden doors open, and searched through the contents. Choosing a plain, (f/c) t-shirt, and a pair of denim jeans, you closed the doors again and shuffled to the bathroom across the hall.

After dressing and quickly washing your face, you stepped out of the bathroom and walked down the hall. When you turned to enter the kitchen, you stopped right in your tracks. There seemed to be a chunk of a sidewalk on the island in the center of your kitchen. In the chunk, were carved in words, and random splatters of red and orange paint. Cringing your nose in disgust, you slowly edged your way to the island, and glared down at the text.

"Meet me at the streetsign on the far left corner of the street." You mouthed then arched a brow. It must have been that odd Dirk, who... said you looked very... warm. Gagging quietly, you continued to your pantry, searching for food. You grabbed a box of Frosted Flakes and a bowl from the cabinet just beside it. Pouring the cereal into the bowl with one hand, your other hand grabbing a spoon. Of course you weren't going to add milk, you were sort of in a hurry. You chomped down the sugarcoated breakfast, then shot like a bullet to the living room. Wiping your nose with your forearm, you picked up your (f/c) Converse and slipped them on. Were you really going to the streetsign? Yup! But only because you were curious.

In a few moments you were leaning against the streetsign,  hands tucked in the front pockets of your pants. Goodness, someone wanted you there and that someone wasn't there themself. How idiotic. That's when you felt someones weight on you. You turned your head every so slightly to the left, and found the source of the newfound mass. Dirk was purposely leaning on your shoulder. Furrowing your brows you shoved him off. Dirk stumbled off and just stared at you, shoulders raised slightly. He arched a brow and took a step towards you. You took a step back.

"Are you the insane piece of trash that put a chunk of SIDEWALK in my kitchen...?!" You asked, a look of both confusion and disgust worn on your face. Dirk spoke no verbal words. He slouched a bit, tilting his head to the left. Spinning around on his heels, he began to walk away. Sighing, you watched him walk away. He seemed kind of upset. Rubbing your neck you power-walked over to him, using your free hand to grab his shoulder.

"Sorry, pal. I'm just discombobulated right now. You called me hot yesterday, and this morning I found a piece of sidewalk in my kitchen. I'm not sure what I should feel right now, or what to do, but I'm not trying to hurt you with intention." You explained, your teeth gnawing at the inside of your cheek. The blonde just stared at you, expression blank. Arching a brow, you continued to wait for some kind of response.

"Cool." He said in a monotone voice, a small, smug grin on his face as he shrugged your off and continued to walk to his house. Alright, now you were confused. You power-walked up to his side again, and grabbed his shoulder, spinning him around to face you.

"Didn't you want to talk or something?" You growled, gritting your teeth a bit. Dirk just shook his head, now placing a thumb on your chin. He lifted you head up closer to his, your lips almost touching, but he soon pushed you away carefully.

"Just wanted to see your face today." He hummed. Then in the blink of an eye, he was gone. It was as if he just disappeared in thin air. A sigh coiled from your nostrils as you began to step back towards your house. Just as you were about to go inside, someone tapped your left shoulder. You turned to around to be staring into the aviator glasses of that little brat, Dave.

"How did you manage to hurt him again?" The blonde growled, gritting his teeth, fingers clenched against his palms into fists. Rolling your eyes, you ignored the smaller Strider, and just stepped inside your house, shutting the door in his face. The nerve of that kid. Shaking your head, you stormed back over to your room, hopefully going to catch up on the Fanfiction you were reading off of Wattpad.
