Rose's POV
"Olivia, don't look behind you until I say." I tell her.
"Okay, what's wrong?" She asks me.
"Nothing, just stay here and I'll be back."
"Okay, be careful!" Olivia says to me as I walk off.
I'm nervous as hell to see Mitch, and I hope he remembers me.
I clear my throat and walk to the car. I lean against the hood of it and study the guy who I think is Mitch. He's standing with an obvious Avi. I mean, it's hard not to point out a lumberjack. Especially one that has the last name of Kaplan.
"That's him," I mutter to myself.
I decide to stand at the car for a second, and I text Olivia to come over so I can show her something.
"Hey Rose, what's up?" She asked me when she got over to me.
"You cannot freak out, and you cannot go over there okay?" I told her.
"Okay..." she said, dragging out the word.
"Avi and Mitch are over there, but don't act crazy. Let's just stand here and talk, and maybe they'll notice us." I said.
"I'm trying so hard not to freak out Rose." She said to me, her voice squeaky.
"You're doing fine." I reassured her.
Mitch's POV
I was standing outside the venue, talking to Avi.
"Are we gonna end up doing 'Valentine'?" I asked him.
"I think we're replacing that with 'Love Again.'" He answered, his voice incredibly low.
I looked behind me to find two girls talking at their car. One of them looked really familiar, and I didn't know why. Then, it hit me.
"Oh my god," I said. Avi looked at me confused.
"What?" he asked me.
"I know one of those girls."
Rose's POV
"Um, Rose?" Olivia asked me.
"What's up?" I asked back.
"Mitch is looking at us!" she said, obviously nervous.
"It's okay, calm down." I said to her, reassuringly. I looked behind me to find Mitch looking extremely confused.
"Shit." I mutter to myself.
"What?" Olivia asks me.
"He recognizes me."
