Rose's POV
It was the day after the date, and I'm still confused about what happened. I mean, I know what happened, we kissed, and it was good. But, what were we? I wanted to text Mitch and ask, but I didn't want to seem awkward and clingy. He was the one who asked me out on that date, though.

I expected him to take a while to reply, but he almost immediately texted back.

what are we? like, relationship wise. i'm confused since we kissed but nothing happened after that.

Mitch's POV
I love Rose.
I love Rose.
I love Rose.
I kept repeating that to myself as I drove to the park. What would I say to her? I mean, I don't want to seem like I'm obsessed or clingy. I really want her to feel the same way. Why are all of these awful thoughts going through my mind?
I pulled into the parking lot after about 30 minutes of driving and talking my self into a panic attack. I shouldn't be worried, though. I have a 50-50 chance here, and I want to take it.
Rose's POV
I got to the park about 10 minutes early. I walked around a bit until I noticed Mitch's car pull up. He stepped out and took a look around the park, and his eyes stopped wondering when he saw me. My heart stopped when he started walking my way. I didn't realize my insane feelings for him.
"Hey, Rosie." He said when he got to me, pulling me into a warm hug.
"Hey, Mitchie." I said, but my voice was muffled by his shoulder.
He let go of me and kissed the top of my head, which sent chills through out my body.
"So, you never answered my question," I said to him with a smirk.
"Oh, yeah. I didn't." He replied.
"Well, what are we?" I asked him, and he blushed.
"Rose,"
"Yes, Mitch?"
"Will you be my girlfriend?"
