Doesn't these people have anything better to do than to throw rocks and sticks at my car?

And why are there so many people out here, don't they have lives.

I let out a low growl as a patrol officer approached my car and motioned for me to follow him.

I slowly turned off the ignition and got out of the car clutching my gun in my purse.

8 bullets.

I closed the door behind me as soon as I got out and then I opened the backseat to see my little brother holding his toy tightly. I lifted him up gently  and closed the door.

I locked the car and then followed the patrol officer to the packs main building. Where the Alpha and the Luna's family  lived.

                                                                                            *****

I ignored the disgusted stares and quiet whispers which obviously I could hear from the servants.

"This is the Alpha's study, please do show some respect rouge," the patrol officer hissed and then walked away leaving me and Elijah alone in front a plain brown door. I slowly opened the door without knocking.

Surely that rude patrol officer mind linked this alpha of my presence, I thought as I entered the room.

"Welcome, have a seat," a middle aged man said looking at me expectantly with green eyes.

I put Elijah down and took a seat in front of the Alpha's desk. Elijah followed my motion and sat down in the seat beside me.

"So tell me Ms.Churchill what brings you here at this lovely hour with a gun in your purse," the Alpha said sickeningly sweet.

"Well Mr. Alpha if you must know I am taking my little brother to the store to get new batteries for his toy, and as for the gun, it is simply for protection," I said smiling wildly.

He looked at Elijah for confirmation and Elijah showed him his toy." Well then, you may pass,' he said to me and then looked at Elijah." But first would you like some cookies little pup?"

Elijah looked at me and I nodded. He looked back at the Alpha and then smiled widely,"Oh yes please."

"Marvelous, I shall call my son to bring in the snacks," he said and then his eyes turned into a lighter shade of green showing the he was mind linking.

And in a few minutes time someone knocked on the door and then entered.

Time seemed to slow at that moment as blue-green eyes gazed into my crystal blue ones, and I felt like running away as my wolf said something I wish she hadn't.

"Mate."

I blinked once.

And then blinked again.

Oh shit!, I thought as my mind finally processed it.

My eyes widened as a man walked towards me and put his face in the crook of my neck. Which was very awkward because I was sitting down and he was standing. But mostly because my innocent little brother was watching the whole situation unravel.

"I finally found my mate," the man whispered against my neck disbelievingly.

"Oh really who is she or he," I asked pretending to be slow.
