Chapter 4- The job declaration

~Lucy's POV~

I finally made it to the guild, well with an additional person...holding me. "Can you put me down now?" I asked, not entirely impressed with natsu.

"Fine" natsu replied like he really didn't want to put me down. As i was about to get out of his arms he picked me up again!

"Natsu!-" I hissed angrily.

"It's sting, i'm protecting you!" Natsu confessed.

"protecting me?" I asked confused. "Sting doesn't want to hurt me!" I replied.

"I'm not gonna let him take you, luce!" Natsu said filled with determination. 

"wha-"

Natsu started walking to the usual table with Erza, Gray, Wendy, Romeo,  Juvia, Carla, Gajeel, levy, jet, droy and pantherlily. He sat down and placed me on his lap, still holding me protectively. I huffed annoyed and sting slowly creeped his way over with Rogue, frosch and Lector following him. 

"Natsu are you and lucy finally together?" Mira-jane sung out as she walked over to the table with laxus right behind her.

"no!" I snapped. "he just wants to protect me for some reason" i replied.

"Lucyyyyyyyyy!" Sting sang out coming over.

"and that's the reason" i stated pointing to sting.

"awe, i see, but all of you are going to be together!" Mira grinned devilishly. I looked around confused by what she meant then i saw Wendy hugging Romeo's waist. 

me -> (O.O)

Romeo -> (>.>)

Wendy -> (^.^)

"I see" i said not knowing what else to say.

Natsu then hugged me extremely tight when sting reached our table. "lucyyyyyyy-sama!" Sting sang out as he reached the table.

"Hi, sting" i replied. Natsu just growled.

"Lucy-sama, want to go out today?" Sting asked.

"nah i'm good, thanks anyway" i replied.

"We're going on a job!" Natsu claimed. "Just me and luce" he added.

"huh?" i said confused. "We are?" i asked.

"yes" natsu replied. 

"Sting, let's go back to our guild, i wanna see Yukino" Rogue interrupted.

"fine, see ya later, lucy-sama!" sting huffed.

"bye" i replied watching them leave. "you can let go of me now natsu" i said.

"nah, i'm good!" Natsu replied.

"BUT I'M NOT!" i replied snapping at him.

"let's find a job now" natsu said.

"wait you were serious about the job?" i asked.

"yep, just us two" natsu replied.

"why?" i asked.

"well you will see, luce" he replied giving me a toothy smile.

"Natsu, lucy, stay safe, okay?" Erza said.

"Got it, thanks Erza" I replied.

"Yeah thanks, Erza" natsu replied. 

"Natsu-san, lucy-san, good luck, you two!" Wendy enthusiastically said giving us both a smile whilst still hugging romeo's waist.
