~Savannah POV~

I was in the car. The red car I hate so much. I hated it with a burning passion. I wasn't always like this, my happy memories in this car were ruined. By him. He is Chris. I hate him. It didn't matter though, my mom, as she said, loved him, but I didn't believe her, because she herself had said many times that she was only with him for money, not like he had much though. He had just enough to get my brother everything. I never got anything. My brother was humble though, but considering he was little he asked for a lot, and got it from Chris. What really bugged me was the fact that Bic, my brother, didn't even belong to Chris. Tap tap tap.

"Oh my fucking god, stop!"Chris yelled at me. I stopped out of fear. Fear he would do something, not to me though, but that is for another time.

"Are we home yet?" Bic asked.

"No, you idiot if we were we wouldn't still be driving." I shot.

"Shut up bitch!" Chris' voice shot through the car.

"But..."

"We're home." My mother, Bre, interrupted. She stepped out and so did Chris. I just sat there, I didn't want to get out, I was comfortable.

"Are you going to get out?"

"Yes..." No. I did get out though, but that's when I heard it. Soft, adorable, meowing. That's when I saw it. Beautiful orange kitty. I wanted, no, needed to have him. I toward him, though my mother yelling at me to go inside and Chris not doing a damn thing about. As I got closer he darted under the rose bush. That didn't stop me, after all what's fun without it being easy? I am now on my hands and knees, reaching under the bush towards him. I wince as a torn catches my forearm. As if that wasn't enough the orange beauty decides to scratch me. I grab ahold of his paw and pull him out.I bring him inside the house. My mother starts mouthing off.

"No" I say.

"Fine then put her in the cage."
My mother must be on crack if she didn't see the obvious balls on this cat.
I did this and he looked kind of freighted so I talked to him.

"Hello"he blinked at me I don't think he understood what was going on.
