Robo's Adventure!

Hey Mortals, quick note, this is mostly us trying to find new powers for Ryan, or control the powers for Ryan, I'm not sure if this will be a short or long chapter, depending on how much I can think about to right, anyways... On with the chapter!

I run towards Jordan and Ryan to see what Jordan was calling me for but I didn't see Icy, I guess she was hiding out of the way so Ryan can master his fire powers without her being in danger.
"So, what is it you wanted to show me?"
"Ryan can turn into a Phoenix!"
"Interesting... Are you able to turn out of will, or certain circumstances trigger it?"
"That's the thing we're trying to figure out," Ryan said, "we kinda need someone to act as a threat to find out."
"So is this where I come in?"
"Yes, I am glad we're on the same page!"
"No."
"Why not Robo!"
"I will not act as a threat to your brother!"
"Look Robo, you want to help us, right?" Jordan said.
"Yes, but I-"
"Then act as a threat to my brother! He can heal anyways."
"But I am afraid to hurt him past recovery, he can only heal if he is alive."
"I'm immortal remember?"
"That doesn't mean you can't die. Let me explain,  some species of jelly fish is probably the best example I can give, some jelly fish are able to live for ever if they are not killed, they can also reform missing limbs if they are able to escape, like a lizard loosing there tail and then regrow them, but if they are hurt more than they can recover, or eaten whole they will die."
"That's a good lesson on jelly fish immortality, but how does it contribute to me?"
"Because if you get too hurt, there is a large chance of you dying."
"Oh..."
"So, do you understand why I can't act as a threat? If my instincts act out I might hurt him. I am not going to be the cause of your brother's death."
"Alright Robo, what do you suggest?"
"I have an idea, I'll set Gizmo to be in stand-by mode so he can't attack and also he has a regeneration property that allows him to undo any damage done to him."
"Okay that will work..."
"Alright. Gizmo come!" Gizmo's jets roar and grew louder the closer he got.
"What's up Robo?"
"I need you for an experiment. I will need to set your system to stand-by."
"Okay, but you better not bail on me or I'm not going to be so easily convinced to join you again."
"I promise I won't, Robots honor."
"K fine..." I put in the code for stand-by mode in his collar and instantly became inactive.
"Okay, Icy you might want to seek immediate shelter just in case either the move misfires, or an ember comes to your direction."
"Mhm k." Icy went behind a tree but was still watching.
"Are you ready Ryan?"
"Yes. Let's see how this goes..." His body was engulfed in flames in milliseconds, the fire was so hot that it was turning the air around him into plasma, then sending a large flaming fire ball towards Gizmo, but missing causing the tree behind him to turn to ash instantly and falling over.(it fell sideways and we were in front of the tree so don't worry about that)
"Nicely done Ryan!" Jordan walk over to Ryan as the fire burnt out and she hugged her brother.
"Sibling love..."
"Shush it Robo..." Jordan said still hugging her brother.
"Well, I have to give it to you, even if your aim isn't the best, you did pretty good for a beginner!"
"I walk over to Gizmo, seeing that his body is slightly charred but no real problem. I turn him back off of stand-by mode and he instantly noticed the burned tree.
"What happened?"
"Ryan missed so it hit the tree. It's no big deal, this place if know for its short fires only affecting one tree or two."
"Interesting..."
"Hey Ryan, I'm sure you will get the hang of it."
"Thanks Robo."
