✘Black Eyes✘

I put on my white sweater and slipped on my black vans. It was a Saturday and I've been inside all day. I mean you can't blame me, I just moved to a completely different country and know nothing about the place I moved to.

I walked out of the two story house and headed down the sidewalk. It was still light out and I knew it wouldn't get dark soon so I didn't hesitate to take my time. I was arriving at Main Street, basically downtown where all the shops where. I walked down the long road going in and out of shops. I continued down the road until I saw a candy shop that caught my attention.

I walked up the two steps and pushed the old navy blue door open. I grabbed a little bag and started to fill it with all the delicious sweets they had to offer.  I walked around the store just filling up my bag with candy that won't even last me a whole two days. I walked up to the checkout and stood in line. When it was my turn I walked up to the counter, but no one was to be seen. I waited for a while until I called for help, "Umm is anyone here or..."

"Sorry to keep you waiting," a random guy who appeared from the behind the counter said.

"No problem," I said.

He put my bag on the scale and measured my bag of candy. I scanned him up and down. He wasn't that bad looking to be honest. I was snapped out of my thoughts when he asked for my card. I pulled out my phone and scanned it.

"So, you must have just moved here," he asked looking quite interested.

"Yh, I just moved into that new house out in the country side " I informed him.

"Ahh I see, do you like it there, " he asked looking a little concerned.

"Ha, Yeah."

"I'm Kai by the way,  nice to meet you  mysterious girl who lives in the middle of no where, " he said as he reached out his hand for me to shake with a smile.

"Its Amethesist," I said as I grabbed his hand to shake.

"I prefer mysterious girl."

"You can call me what ever you want," I said as I waved goodbye and walked out the door making the bell ring.

When I arrived home I saw my mom's car in the drive way and I knew she was home. I walked inside the house and headed towards the kitchen. I kissed my mom on the cheek and headed upstairs to my room. I poured the candy I bought onto my bed and grabbed my laptop. I opened it up and plugged in my earbuds. I laid down at the end of my bed with my laptop and my candy at my side. I went to the DramaFever webpage and started watching my favorite Korean dramas. I laid in that position for the rest of the night and ended up falling asleep that way.

The rest of the weekend had went by really fast and it was Monday.

I grabbed my red flannel and put it over the shirt I was wearing. I really didn't feel like going to a new school today. I walked downstairs grabbed my bookbag, lunch,  and headed out the door. Since I lived far from the school my mom had to drive me. When we got there I said my goodbyes and walked inside the school. It wasn't that big, but wasn't small either. I looked down at my schedule not even knowing I was standing in the middle of the hallway.

"Oops sorry," I heard someone say and girls chuckling while I had fallen to the ground.

"Leave her alone, " I heard a familiar voice and looked up from the ground to see Kai standing there.

"Leave Kai no one likes you anyways, " one girl said.

I was shocked at what she had said. I mean,  I thought Kai would be the type of guy to have a lot of friends and stuff.

"Kai common we need to go, " I heard someone yell.

I looked up to see a group of boys calling his name. I guess my theory was wrong.

I stood up, thanked him, and walked away passing the group of guys,  who where now starring at me like everyone else. I had already screwed up and school didn't even start yet.

The rest of the morning was fine until lunch. I wanted to just stay in my classroom and eat, but I didn't want to be a complete loser so I decided to go downstairs to the canteen. All they tables were full except one. I started to walk towards that table, but someone grabbed onto my wrist. I turned around to see a tall girl , but not taller than me, with a cheer leading uniform on. This can't end well I thought to myself.

"Stay away from my boyfriend, " the girl said.

"And who's that, " I asked

"Jongin," she stated.

"Uh," I said sounding confused.

"Ugh, Kai,  you stupid bitch," she said.

"Oh, well ..why would I, " I said while  cursing at myself on the inside.

"I'll make you, " she said with an evil smirk.

"Go ahead," I said sending the same evil smirk back.

Before I knew it she had slapped me hard and I mean hard , and then the whole canteen went quite. Her friends them took my lunch bag and poured out all my food including some of the candy I had bought a couple days ago. I was going to cry, but I decided not to. They continued to torment me untill one of them saw a teacher walk in and they ran.I had bruises all over me.  They had kicked me in my stomach and all over the rest of my body. I was standing there alone while everyone starred at me and no one decided to help me.  What the hell was wrong with these people. 

So I ran. I ran as far away from that place as possible. I ran and ran and ran untill I couldn't breathe anymore.  I was now lost in the forest. I walked deeper into the mysterious forest. It had been raining and now I was soaked. I wanted to cry so bad,  but I'm not a little bitch.

"AAAHHHHHH," I screamed and continued to scream.

Why. Why must my life be like this. My dad gone. I know my mom is dying of sadness and then sooner or later I'm gonna be alone.

Well that's at least what I thought.

Hours and hours had pass since I left school and it was getting dark so I decided to go home. I was walking back into the forest from the valley. I could hear rustling from the  bushes behind me so I started to walk a little faster until the point when I was jogging.

But suddenly a tall figured stood in front of me. As it came closer and closer I began to back up.  But it stopped right in front of my face and noticed something.

I looked straight into his piercing black possessed eyes. His hair was messy and he had a symbol on his neck. I was afraid and I didn't know what to do next so ran and he let me.

It was dark, cold, raining, and I was running for my life. When all of a sudden I fell to my knees. Rain pouring on my head dripping down my cheek's. Kneeling on the ground with closed eyes. I thought to myself as I waited to be killed. I was hopeless . No one would ever here me scream all the way out here in the middle of the forest.

"Stand up"
"Aren't you gonna kill me already"
"Ha, do you want me to"
"Maybe"

Then all of a sudden I started to gasp for air as he held me up by my neck. I held onto his grip trying to free my neck. He slammed me against a tree which made me whince at the pain he was putting me through. My vision got blurry and then everything went black. And all I could hear was the sound of pouring rain.
