July opened the door to the apartment, catching the attention of Sakura and Ino, both occupying the couch. It was between classes for Sakura and shifts for Ino, so July made herself comfortable between two of her best friends.
The apartment's living room didn't have the best lighting, allowing July to remove her sunglasses and toss them into the end table.
"So," Ino started, throwing July a knowing look, "How was lunch with the loser?"
July caught Ino's eye. "Good. He's still lame."
Ino, being the socialite she is, saw the trashy magazines with blurry pictures of July and Itachi the day after they started circling around. She's teased July a bit through text, giving hints that she knows. Not that she should be surprised, because Ino is known for knowing everything that has to do with celebrities, especially the Uchiha's.
"I still don't know who he is~," Sakura hummed, flipping throw channels on their TV. July let her head rest against the cushion and grinned.
"Not my problem."
Sakura jabbed her in the side with the remote, cackling as the blonde squirmed to get away. She finally settled on a channel and threw the remote on the coffee table, curling her legs into herself.
She stared at July, emerald eyes unblinking. "Tell us about him." She snorted, averting her eyes from Sakura's and Ino's.
"He's an asshat."
"So is most of the world," Sakura pouted, "Be more specific."
July pondered for a few minutes, resting her chin on her knee. "He's fun, I guess. Good looking for an emotionally constipated dipshit, and easy to make fun of. He makes me feel happy, so I guess he's okay." Ino snorted, grabbing the remote from July to change the channel. She scowled. "I was being serious, shithead."
"You never said his name~," Sakura hummed.
"You never asked for it~."
The pinkette pouted and stood, ignoring July when she tried pushing her feet info her friends side. "I have to be at class soon, then I'm meeting Naruto and Hinata for a bit, so me and her might be back late. You coming, Ino?"
"You know, for college kids, you guys stay out late a lot," July groaned, only to be ignored.
"That's my ride," Ino sighed, standing and pulling at the waistband of her shorts. "Have fun with the hottie~." July waved them out the door, checking her phone for new messages after they left.

July drove up to the Akatsuki Bar, a local bar owned by an infamous couple. Mostly famous for their image, the two owners could scare a grown man into pissing himself. Despite their appearance, they're known for being kind and peaceful individuals.
