People are cruel, terrible beings, but they are also the most wonderful creatures I have ever met. Talking to new people can be terrifying, but it is almost always worth it. You never know what experience might change your life: for better or for worse. That person you help pick up their books might become your best friend. That person you smile at in the grocery store might decide that life is still worth living, even if they had decided otherwise earlier.
Go out into the world and do what you want to do. You only have one life to live and sometimes it feels like you get swallowed up in the numbers of people around you. You are a wonderful, unique person and have so much to bring to this world.
Please, Go out and show everyone what you have to offer. They might even help you too.
