Aks and Vks

We walked to the picnic tables outside. As we got closer I saw Ben there already, he looked up from his phone and smiled at us.
" Hey everyone!" He said as he kissed my cheek and hugged me.
" Hey!" They replied.
" Oh..and Happy One Year Anniversary!" He added.
" Hey you remembered!" I said.
" If course I did, I mean I did make the proclamation, didn't I?" He stated, I rolled my eyes, and everyone laughed.
We sat down and waited for the rest, not long after that are friends arrived.
I sat next to Ben, Evie sat with her boyfriend Doug, Jane with Carlos, Jay with Audrey, and Lonnie with Chad.
They all greeted us and congratulated us for being here one full year.
" You know, it's also been one year without any sign of danger, especially from your mother, Maleficent, Mal!" Carlos stated, everyone nodded to his statement.
I also agreed but a feeling in my chest told me something was coming.
" Have you guys, missed anything from the isle?" Lonnie asked.
Us Vks stared at each other.
" Well...I sometimes miss causing a little mischief." Evie, Jay,Carlos, and I said at the same time.
" I miss drawing on the walls." I confessed.
" I miss causing trouble to the rest of the islanders and always being feared cause of Mal!" Jay said, and Evie and Carlos agreed.
The Aks stared at me,
" Well..the islanders really did fear you, Mal" Audrey spoke up.
" Lets just say that I was really Evil to them!" I defended.
" Yah, you sure did act evil on me! Especially when you locked me in Cruella's closest, remember?" Evie said bring back that memory.
" Oh yeah, I remember, do you guys, Jay knew my plan and Carlos helped her out!" I stated, the boys nodded.
" Why would you lock Evie in Cruella's closest, and what's so bad about the closest?" Doug asked. Carlos, Evie and I shivered at that.
" Well..I wanted revenge on her for not inviting me too her 6th birthday, and the bad thing about that closest is.."
" It has dog traps that set off when you step in them!" Evie and Carlos yelled at the same time.
The Aks all said " ohhhh" at the same time which made us all laugh.
