Raelin Potter sat around the circle at the dining table in Slug's room. She held a glass of alcohol and stared at everyone's posh way of talking and eating in a weird manner.
Everyone wore such elegant clothing while she wore black leather jeans, and a black shirt. She looked like she was in a punk motorcycle gang. She suddenly let out a laugh to that.
People turned to look at her. Especially Snivellus.
"Excuse me, what's so funny?" One Ravenclaw with brown hair and bangs asked, her face very pissed.
Obviously Raelin had interrupted the Ravenclaw's conversation with Professor Slughorn.
"Oh, nothing really. Just you." Raelin shrugged and smiled. The Ravenclaw's eyes widened in shock, actually, everyone's eyes widened in shock.
Lily Evans turned to hit her friend on the arm. But she was smiling.
"Oh, you find it funny too, Miss Evans." Raelin whispered to her friend in a posh accent like the Ravenclaw had.
Lily was giggling in her seat, trying to hold it back.
"Miss Potter, I'm sorry but I have to ask you to leave for Miss Consoria here is talking about her father's very interesting business and is disturbed by your laughter. I'm truly sorry, how about we have tea tomorrow afternoon?" Slughorn smiled slightly.
Raelin huffed and got up from her seat abruptly, shaking the table.
"Fine, whatever Miss Coconut says." And she left, stomping on the floor, making a scene. Lily stared at her friend in distress, wanting to stop her from leaving. But she was too late.
Raelin walked out the party with a scowl on her face. Her eyebrows knitted together.
"Well, it looks like little Potter is on her period, doesn't it?" The voice of notorious Sirius Black was the first thing Raelin heard as she walked out of the party.
Sirius was standing alone in the shadows of the hallway, his back against the wall beside the door Raelin had just exited from.
Raelin groaned.
"What are you doing here, Black?" She asked, exasperated.
1 second. 5 second. 10 second. 1 minute.
He didn't reply, so she walked towards him to get a better look on his face.
"I was just passing by!" He blurted out, his cheeks red. Raelin's scowl slowly turned into a smile filled with amusement.
"Were you... perhaps... worried?" She asked with amusement clearly in her voice.
"What?! No! Worried about what? That you'd kill Snivellus? Well, yeah. I mean if Snivellus wasn't here anymore, I'd have no one to bully!" Sirius blurted out as fast as the Hogwarts Express.
Raelin ended up having fits of laughter.
Sirius stared at her weirdly before a small smile appeared on his face.
"Lets go." He said, finally, and started walking down the dark hallway.
Raelin could see only his beautiful, silky black hair in the bright moon light. She smiled softly.
Maybe he wasn't so bad.
"Where are we going?" She started following.
"Pay Snivellus's dorm a visit." Sirius smiled mischievously.
Maybe she was wrong after all.
