To Get Away

What a day

I started my day great. I got to school on time and had all my homework done. First block we watched a movie. Second, we made flash cards, and third, we did guided notes. Now it was time for lunch. I walked into the cafeteria hungry as hell. All they had was hot dogs. I hated my schools hotdogs the were  always burnt,hard,and nasty. I decided not to eat. I sat down at the table and soon after came My friends. First to arrive was Tamera. Brown skin, skinny, and had a mowhawk with braids. She was my best friend. Then came Amera. Se was light skin and a struggle. She was skinny, short, and slow. Then came Renee she was light skin, thick, with some nice ass hair. (I be hating) Lastly came Nia. She thick, dark
Skin, and tallish. They all were complaining about that booty lunch we had. We sat there for about 5 silent minutes before Renee suggest we go get some to eat. We all thought it was a good idea. While we were debating on rather we should get subway or American Deli our friends Ed and Alex came over. They asked what we were talking about and Nia said food. They agreed the lunch sucked and they were hungry. We figured we could let them in on our food plans.

In the end we decided to go to American Deli because it was closer. We also decided that Nia and Alex would go because Alex had the keys and Nia, well she just wanted to go. Before Alex left he collected everyone's money. When he got to Ed. Ed was being cheap as usal. He made a face and said "How much this cost?" Everyone laughed at his cheapness. He eventually gave his share. Alex ended paying for Amere because that was his girl. I ended up paying for Tamera because she forever broke.  Just before Alex was about to leave he stopped came back in and popped the question.

Who got this gas money?

We all erupted in laughter and each gave a extra dollar. After about 20 mins  they were back. Everyone got real happy and almost knocked them over trying to get the wings. They were like savages.  We all sat down and ate. Everything thing was going great until Daniel and her pack of dogs came over there. She always saying stuff to us and start some. Today honestly wasn't the day. She walked up to our table looking at us with disgust. We just kept eating. Then she pulled Nia's food onto the floor. Nia looked at me then at her food. (At that moment Daniel knew  she had fucked up.) Nia sat there for like a good 10 seconds as if she was trying to count. Just like a flash Nia had Daniel on the floor shoving dirty hot wings down her throat. Dog #1 attempted  to hit her but Amera was already there. Amera beat that girl down. Alex had to pull Nia off Daniel. Me, Renee, and Tamera just laughed. It was funny. Our of no where Mrs.G made all of them go to the office.

We went ahead on to class. My fourth block was math. I hated math. I while in math I got a text from Nia.

N- she was mad at first. She cussed me out then I explained to her and she was like oh OK ion care. ☺☺

N- 1 day 😂😂
J- gtg class almost over

10 minutes later the bell rang. I rushed out of math. I was ready to go. I met up with Tamera in the hall. We walked to reading  class together. We came in, sat down, and talked about the events that occurred in lunch. We both laughed for a boy 3 minutes. Until Mrs.Jackson told us to stop. We both kept laughing. She told us to stand outside her class. We went out there and sat on the floor. I started to tell her about my job. She told it would be easy. I told her I was kinda nervous. She reassured me it would be okay. Then Mrs.Jackson came outside. We both immediately stood and prepared for the worst. She quietly came out and closedthe door. Then she bust out laughing. She started to talk about how she hated Daniel and how she wish she could have done it. We all shared a laugh until Ms.Q came down the steps. (She's the principal.) Mrs.Jackson rushed us back into the class where they were watching a movie. We took our seats and joined. After a while I was asleep.

*2 hours later*

I was leaving school heading to work when my phone rang. It was my moma, I decided not to pick up for I knew it was some bull. She called back 5 times, all 5 I ignored. I pulled up to the job, parked on the side. I got out the car and walked in.

When I walked in I went straight to the desk. The girl at the desk name was Jennifer. She was really nice. She handed me a stack of stuff. She then called James on the intercom. James came out of nowhere. He greeted me with a pleasing smile.He was was a pretty shade of brown, tall with nice white teeth.He had a deep voice and muscular hands. He grabbed my hand and lead me to the back into a room. The room had lockers and benches in it.  He told what locker was mine and the way things work. He suggested that I buy a lock. He told me to hurry and get changed so I can start shadowing. He walked out and I began to change.

*James pov*
I walked out giving her privacy. I walked over to Jennifer who was at the desk. I asked her how old was Jay. She said the 10th grade. Boy she was a sexy 10th  grader. I myself am in 11th grade. I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't see her come out. She asked me for a pen to write her name on her name tag. Before I could give her one Jennifer had given her a marker. After she wrote her name down, we started her training. She caught on real fast. Before I knew it she didn't even need me. She was moving remarkably fast. At the end of her shift she went to the locker room. I followed her. I asked her how much she made? She said "75"  I was surprised,  that's a lot for your first time. She didn't seem to care. I asked why she was rushing. She said "I have to pick up my siblings." I tried to talk to her but she kept disregarding me. I almost gave up until she said "What's your number?" At first I was taken aback. I asked her she wanted it. She claimed it was because she had questions about the register. I knew the truth, so I gave it to her. 

*Jay pov*
I walked out The Bistro hastily. It was 9:36  I had to go get them by 10. I went straight down the express way. I was there in a little less than 20 minutes. I walked in (T.A.S.C.) I saw Erin first, then Kamori. They had there bookbags and lunch boxes. I signed them out and we walked to the car. As I was putting them in, someone walked up behind me and touched my shoulder. I almost had a heart attack. It was only James.
