The next day there we were with Angel had gripping me by the wrist and practically dragging me into Forever 21 because she believed I could walk there fast enough. She was claiming how my style was 'so last fall', and that I needed new clothes for my next date with Liam.

"If I have one," I mumbled while Angel was admiring a cute crop top. She put the up against me, examining it for a few seconds then returned it to the rack. "What was wrong with that?" I questioned. I placed my hands on my hips waiting for an answer.

"I didn't go well with your hair," She replied briskly and skipped deeper into the store. I had to keep myself from laughing because all this time in New York made 'hair' sound like 'hay-yah'. I followed Angel to the vintage-y section of the store. We, meaning Angel, had come up with the perfect outfit for Liam and I's fantasy 'date. She pulled me over to the counter and lay various items on it. A mint sleevless crop-top with flower print shorts. A pair of light blue strappy sandals.. A new purse lay on the counter as well along with and pair of chic shades I didn't complain very much because it was Forever 21, I wasn't going to pay a fortune.

"He hasn't even asked me yet," I said pulling out my wallet at the cash register. The girl was foreign, Angel and I looked at each other. She was speaking rapidly in language that sounded a lot like Spanish so I went along with it. I wondered why they had a foreign language speaking cashier in a town like this. New Yorkers sometimes barely speak English, let alone spanish.

"Me gustaría comprar estos," I said nodding my head, hoping that might help. She smiled and rung up the items.

"I didn't know you spoke Spanish," Said a voice behind me. I supposed it was Angel.

"I know a little, I'm going to be minoring it in college," I whirled around to see a familiar face. "Liam," I said, I could feel my face getting hot.

"You didn't text me!" He said as he put his stuff on the counter, His face suddenly turned worried as the lady waited patiently for a request.

"Te gustaría comprar estos," Niall said. At first I was surprised but then remembered Angel saying something about him being fluent in Spanish.

"Impressive," Angel said motioning towards Niall. I could see a rose color flooding to his face. "I took French, so if you want a crescent, I'm your girl," She said gathering the bag. I waved good-bye to the boys as we continued on our girl's day. We left Forever 21 and traveled towards Auntie Annie's because, as we all know, their pretzels rock! Just as I took a bite of its salty goodness, my pocket vibrated.

Liam: Why no text?

I felt pretty good about myself. He had asked me twice why I didn't text him. Twice by and international pop-star, an attractive one at that.

Kathleen: OMG, sry. I woke up late and I totally blanked!

I did feel really bad about not texting him. But the guilt soon dissipated and was encased by excitement.

Liam: It's ok. I was wondering if you wanted to watch Toy Story 3 l8r today. I need a shoulder to cry on.

By this point Angel was standing on the bench behind me and straining to see the conversation. I turned around, she then leaned over to far and fell over on the concrete.

"Give a girl a little warning before you make her fall of a bench," She muttered rubbing the side of her head. I looked over my shoulder at her. She then sat on the bench and crossed her arms at the unsuccessful spy mission. I turned back at the phone. My mind was racing, he wanted ME to watch the movie with him. I then scolded myself.

"How can you let yourself do this? Especially to a boy you barely even know," This one- sided conversation was followed by a response to his question.

Kathleen: Sure, What time?

I thought I played that one pretty well. My thoughts were interrupted by Angel's rant.

"I TOLD YOU HE'D ASK YOU OUT! I'M A THE BEST MATCHMAKER EVER!" She then tried to give herself a high-five, missed, and ended hitting herself in the spot she fell on. "OW!" She rubbed the bruise again, I then sat her down.

"I did everything, sorry hon," I smiled as she looked up at me.

"Thank you for ruin my matchmaking dream," She said, looking down "You got another text,"

Liam: Does 6 work?

I texted him back. Angel then grabbed my wrist and dragged me to the car and took me home to get ready for Liam and I's date.
