Icarus was told over and over not to fly too high.
Over and over did he hear the words of his father Daedalus, reminding Icarus to follow him.
Over and over Icarus promised to obey.
Over and over he wished he had kept his promise.
Over and over he had looked at the sun, seen her smile, and fallen in love.
Over and over he had wanted to be closer to her.
Over and over he flew up to see her.
Over and over she pointed back down to Daedalus, silently telling him to listen.
Over and over he heard a voice in the back of his head telling him to listen to her and his father.
Over and over he ignored it, until it was too late.
He was falling towards a certain death now, and the last thing he saw was the sun reaching for him.
