If tomorrow was your last day on Earth, what would you do? Who would you see? Who would you hug for the last time? Who would you share your last dying breath with? Many of us are not ready for our last day; until it hits us. Weather or not you are ready, it will come to you one day. This is the story on how it came to us and nobody was prepared for yet to come.
I woke up yawning as I hit my alarm clock to stop its annoying ringing. I got out of my bed, walked to my bathroom, and looked in the mirror. I see the same person I see everyday. Me. I brush my teeth, found my outfit for school and I waited for my older brother to drive me to school. He comes down while on the phone. "Ready Kaiko?" He asks. I nodded while grabbing my backpack and set off to his car. Along the way, I see some of my other classmates walking to school and others in cars. Kaito, my older brother, looks at me and says "So freshman year. Excited?" I didn't know how to respond; so many emotions were inside my head. Fear, joy, shyness, and so many more that it became to much for my mind to take so I completely went blank. It was when I zoned back that I realized that Kaito turned his car off and was sitting there. I looked at him confused and he pointed to the door of the school. "My girlfriend and her friends are coming, plus you don't want to be late." I nodded and left walking to the school. Him and I both knew that he didn't have a girlfriend, only a crush, but I took the hint and left. I walked inside and was overwhelmed by so many people. Seniors, juniors, freshman, teachers, staff, so many people that it scared me. I was trembling in fear so much that if I took a step forward, I would go into a panic attack. I felt a hand on my shoulder and I completely lost it shaking in fear. I turned to see Kaito and his lady friend Megurine Luka. Luka giggled and said "Aw, little blueberry scared? why not and socialize with some of them. they all don't bite." I hated it when she called me blueberry, but I only nodded and took a step forward. I was met with another person's shoe and scared me and I ran to Kaito. Him and Luka laughed as another guy's voice laughed as well. I looked to see Gakupo. I screamed "Gakupo!" Gakupo was like another brother of mine. He knew me since I was born and my brother since they were little. Before I could start a conversation, the bell ranged and I trembled at the sight of being tardy on the first day. I looked at my schedule and started for the stairs to go to my class.
I get to my class and sees nearly all the seats taken. That didn't bother me since I saw a seat in the back. I went to the back and I organized my stuff. The teacher started with his introduction to his classroom and I was listening til' I decided to look around at the new room. Not a lot of decorations as the walls were blank white and not a lot of posters. I was looking around til' I met eyes with another student. We locked eyes but we both looked away, well I did. After 3 minutes, I looked near her to see if she was still looking at me, and she was. This was pretty awkward especially since she didn't look familiar. After class was done, I walked to the door but the girl from before stopped me. "Kaiko right?" she said. I nodded and she smiled softly. "I'm Mayu. Vocaloid 3 sophomore." I was in awe to get to talk to a new member of Vocaloid. "Kaiko. Fanloid 1." I said. Her smiled faded some and she looked confused. "You're not a Vocaloid?" I nodded. I came to terms that I was not one and wanted to work to become one. "Yes. I am working to be there though." She then returned her smile and invited me to sit with her at lunch. She walked off as I walked to my next class. I looked around more until I bumped into someone knocking both of our books down. "Oh I'm so sorry I'm clumsy." I tried to explain, but he stopped me, and gave me my books back neat. I looked at him and he smiled. Before I could say something else, a girl yelled out "Meito! Come on now I don't have all day!" I looked past him to see a girl with a long purple ponytail, a light purple kimono, and gladiator boots. I quickly realized who she was; She was Gakupo's younger sister, Gakuko. The boy then smiled more and walked off with her and I stood there dumbfounded. Taking in all this new information, I quickly ran to my next class to not be late.
