Aimlessly driving nowhere, I parked the car on the side of the street and stepped out of the car.
"Missy's Speakeasy" I read the sign aloud. "Speakeasy, hmm? Is that where it's easy to speak to people? It must be, Marcel! Sounds like your kind of place." I talked to myself.
I entered the place and was shocked. "Wow. This is interesting. Quite interesting indeed." I pushed my glasses up my face, pulled my suspended pants up even higher, and walked to the middle of the room.
"Hello, I'm Marce- oomff! Ouchy, that hur- raaghhh! Hey, what's going o- uurghmph!" I was being tossed around a lot! It seems like everyone is dancing. "B-be cool, Marc-cel." I stuttered.
Trying to blend in, I started shuffling my feet and twisting my arms and legs. "Yeah, way to go, Marcel!" I jumped and almost fell. "Oh, you goof." I said to myself.
Suddenly, a pair of arms grabbed me from behind.
"Waghh!" I squealed.
"Hey, sugah, momma likes you," said a young woman in a flapper dress.
"You're not my mom," I corrected her. She looked too young to be my mother!
"You're cute. How about we slip away to a private section and get to know each other, hmm?" she asked.
"Okay, I was getting claustrophobic anyways." I said following her. "It's nice of you to help me out." I said with thanks.
"Anytime, sugah." she winked at me.
I was led to a curtained tent hanging from the ceiling with dim lights. There were 5 other people in here. Two of them were girls and the others were guys.
"Hello, my name's Marcel Harold Styles. It's nice to meet all of you." I said to everyone.
"Marcel!"
"Hey, bud,"
"How you doin', sugah plum?" everyone said greeting me.
"These people are so kind! Good job, Marcel," I thought to myself.
"Here, sugah, take a drink of this. It'll help loosen you up" the young woman who led me here said while handing me a clear drink.
"Thank you, I've been really thirsty ever since I got here." I said.
I took a giant gulp of the drink.
"Blehhhh what is this stuff?" I said, voice squeaking.
"Just a special drink of mine, baby, drink some more." the lady said.
"Okay, if you insist," I said, taking another drink. The lady tilted the cup until the drink was all gone.
"Wowwww, thaaanks," I slurred. "That was delicioussss." I smiled lazily.
"I'm reeeally tired." I said. "Nighty night for Marcel." I said before laying down on the cushioned sofa in the tent and passing out.
