It had been a few years since monsters came above and too this shitty world that they seemed to marvel at.

You'd never get that, how they think this place to wonderful, it was just earth, the only place you've never known.

But then again you have to think they have been stuck down there for most of there life, a simple sun rise must have looked like the gods themselves delivered a new day to them, aaah ignorant bliss, one of the many things you wish you still had.

Of course monsters were going to get backlash for well...being monsters but it had been three years, and it had died down now, though there was still the damn monster hunters and shit like that, honestly none of it mattered too you, as long as you were getting payed and doing well in your classes, nothing really mattered, it was work over your social life, that's if you could even call it that anymore, it was mostly you telling your monster loving hippy friend to stop following you and that you didn't need friends.

He followed you and talked to you anyway....
He was probably the only reason you had any sanity left, you liked him, but you wouldn't ever tell him that.

"HEY! Helloooooo! Are you listening to me!!" The obnoxiously loud voice of said 'friend' knocked you out of your thoughts

"Oh..um what were you talking about" you didn't mean to sound rude but hell it was just how you talked now, nothing ever interested you to be honest

" wellll! Before you started to ignore me...I think I was talking about those two new skeleton monsters that moved in next to us!" Yes that was right, he lived with you, to your disappointment

" what about them?" You were huffing now, she was sitting on your desk, you we're trying to write a story for your creative writing class you take out of school

" Well..it doesn't make you feel weird that they are like, literally skeletons, as in the things inside us?"

" Why would it?" You accepted defeat pushing out of your chair and starting to make your way downstairs while Alex Followed you

" Oh come on! ___ they are IN us!"

"They are monsters, the simply LOOK like us, come on now Alex" you hated to admit it but you were smiling, they always knew how to brighten up your day

" Well yeah! I get that but, did you hear them one of them just loves to go 'NYEH!' Like who the hell says that" Alex might of sounded rude but he was honestly a big soft curious cat, he never meant no wrong

" You mean the one that wears the scarf, ah yes I think his name is, Papryus, and the smaller one Sans I am sure" honestly Alex wasn't surprised you knew, you apparently knew everything, or that's what Alex thinks.

" Aren't they...type fonts!?" He jumped out in front of you, it didn't scare you but you almost fell into him as a result.

"Alex please don't do that and yes, yes that are, Anyway if you would like to meet them they will be at our door in...three" you started to make your way to the door "..two.." Putting you hand on the door knob you opened it and said "...one" it revealed a tall and small skeleton. Just as you guessed

"Okay, that was unnatural! How could you have known" the taller of the two skeletons seemed to be shocked you had opened the door before he could knock

"SANS! IT SEEMS THE HUMAN KNEW OF OUR ARIVAL!" If you thought Alex was loud this was just amazing, you could feel your ears already starting to cry

"heh. It seems so bro" the smaller skeleton laughed softly and shrugged at his brother it seems

" Hi there! My name is Alex! I like goats!" Alex was very very weird to be honest, you've never seen him around campus but apparently he went to your school

" You've goat to be KIDding me Alex, you cud have make a baaaatter first impression then that" you let a sly grin climb into your face as you watched Alex's face drop

" BROTHER WE HAVEN'T BEEN HERE LONGER THEN TEN SECONDS AND YOU'RE ALRADY A BAD INFLUENCE ON HER!!" Papryus seemed to have dropped what ever he was holding his eyes tracking in differ directions and he angrily 'Nyeh'd"

"sorry bro, I can't help being so. Sansational" even though he had told a pretty good pun his gaze was fixed on you, unblinking

" Stare any harder you might light me on fire, I know I'm hot but seriously, I have enough skeletons inside me to last me a life time, thanks" you rolled your eyes and picked up the container of spaghetti that Papryus had dropped
" OH YES! WE CAME OVER TO INTRODUCE OURSELVES AND GIVE YOU SOME FINE CULINARY ART!" He proudly looked at the spaghetti in your hands

"YOU MAY CALLED ME PAPYRUS BUT I NORMALLY GO AS THE GREAT PAPYRUS!" He stood proudly his cape flowing in the wind, somehow...
