Hi everyone like promised the 13 chapter yay🎉 on time, and also my book hit 1K reads another yay . I would like to thank everyone one voted and even just read my books I wouldn't have made it this long so thanx☺️. "A..April?" I asked "how, what, are you a..." I couldn't continue it was too painful.
"No! I am not a witch! I am a descendent just like you, I have the power to make holographic shadows but they do attack and it is painful and uh sorry about your eye" she explained as I looked astonished at her.
"What animal are you?" I asked her this time my voice a bit exited.
" I am a black bear, but when I fight I turn into a grisly bear" she said with a smile "one more thing Is the shrine maiden your sister?" I looked at her and nodded, I just couldn't believe it there are others! Wow, it's hard to take everything in, first my sister then this. A sudden pain struck my back, my body was paralyzed as I fell on the ground, it was a shadow I know it was. "Poor little Sofia she believed everything Ha what a pathetic little dog, no wonder her mother died I know now that she was as weak as you"
"anyone can offend me but never ever offend my mother" I shouted as I slowly lifted my self from the ground, I stood up wobbly then secretly thrown a pocket knife directly to her leg when it hit her stomach, ops I guess I am bad at aiming. She screamed pain as blood oozed all over the ground that was my chance of escape I ran to the shrine but I was too weak and slow.
When I finally reached the shrine I saw at the gate both my friends shock written on there faces, I giggled at bit but it caused more pain so I just kept my emotionless face. Both Elyn and Emily came rushing to my aid, "hey change back into a human" Emily whispers as I realized I am still a half wolf I softly say: ...
"Reverse" and a soft light changed me into a human, my eyes became blurry as I slowly fell on the floor.
I was surrounded by darkness as a whisper kept repeating my name, I did recognize but I still didn't know who. I tried to walk around but the room I was in was so dark it wasn't easy, I sat on the floor as I tried to recognize the voice. Then it struck me how could I ever forget her voice "MOM!" I shouted "WHERE ARE YOU MOM?!" Then s soft light lit up the empty room and in front of me was a human form of my mom. I ran to her and hugged her, "mom I missed you so much, why did you leave me" I said as I cried on her shoulder, she softly stroked my hair as she hummed her lullaby she used to sing to me when I was a pup.
"It's okay Sofia you have your sisters by your side, and now your a descendant I am so proud of you" she said softly to me.
"But mom there is a witch in my class, and...and I can't fight her in front of everyone, I can't even kill a witch I am so weak" I explained
"Sweaty you are not weak, promise me that you will be strong and kind to all creatures except shadows I want you to kick there butt" she said I giggled a bit at what she said then promised her "and be carful around that owl I sense dark magic about her" I looked at my mother confused Zull wouldn't hurt a fly, but she looked at me with the death glare and I nodded she then hugged me tightly as she whispers "tell Eva that I miss her and your father and don't forget brother"
"Never" I told her
"Goodbye sweaty" she whispered softly as she let go of our hug and a bright light shown.
"Sofia...sofia please wake up" Elyn said with tears threatening to come out.
"I am a wake" I told her as she looked at me with a bright smile and hugged me so tight I couldn't breathe.
"E..Elyn...I..ne..need...a..aair" I struggled to say, she let go as I breathed heavily.
"Sorry" she muttered "Sofia we have a problem"
"What?" I asked her
"It's about Zull she..."
"Did something bad happened to her" I said worriedly
"NO!" She screamed "she killed half of the class" she whispered as shock stuck, Zull killed half of the class? "We are the only ones left" she said as Eva and Emily and two other girls stood up.
"Where is Zull?" I asked as a knock on the door answered my question.
