#6-First Date

"Gregory, what the hell are you doing next to me?" I open my eyes and see my brother sleeping next to me.

I jerk away and get up. He mumbles something in his sleep which nobody can understand.

Nelson starts laughing at us. He's the early bird among us.

"Lisa, I guess he came home late and didn't know which was his bed." Nelson tells me chuckling.

"And, Lisa by the way, you've got something out for you."Nelson teasingly smiles at me and leaves.

I put my hair into a bun and walk out and find a big bouquet of flowers. I walk to it and it has my name on it.

I wonder who would give me such beautiful flowers. I hope it's not my brothers tricking me. I open the note stuck on it and it read;

Good morning Lisa.

I would like to ask you out properly.

If yes, then be ready by 4pm. I'll be there to pick you up.

P.s. We never exchanged numbers.

I smile at his gesture and close the note. I take the flowers out of the bouquet and put them in the vase on the side table.

It's 3pm and I'm still not ready. I don't know what to wear. I wanted to go casual so I slip into my hot pants and yellow tank top.

I tie my hair into a high pony. I put some lipgloss. I've never been the makeup kind.

My phone vibrates and its Robert.
If any of you are wondering how, after his small gesture this morning, I texted him and said yes for the date.

I'll be there in 20.- Robert

Aunt Mel is cool with it and so are my brothers. I didn't tell my mom and dad yet. But that's always for the good because they will start to panic and even want to Skype Robert to see if he's a good guy.

It's just our first date and nothing serious right now.

After about waiting impatiently for fifteen minutes, the door bell rings and I run to it because it must be Robert.

I open the door revealing a HOT Robert. I mean he's always hot. But the khaki shorts and his black t-shirt and man, his hair is always messed.

This is HOT ...hot....HOT!!!!!

Does he ever run a comb through his hair? But it's okay! Because messy hair is sexy on him.

He smiles and I invite him in.

Aunt Mel and Uncle Tom are working. As for my brothers Gregory is still sleeping and I'm guessing it's a hangover. Nelson went to the library.

I grab my phone and see myself one last time in the mirror.

Casual! Yes! I didn't want to look too girly on our first date.

I mean it's like two friends hanging out.

"Ready?" He asks me and I nod smiling at him.
