I Found You...

Birthday Party

<DaeHyun's POV>

"YoungJae..." I start. "I'm really sorry...if that embarrassed you..." I say.

"It's ok, Hyung. I forgive you!" YoungJae says to me and smiles.

"But seriously, Hyung," Zelo starts, "what's up with you and SeoBaek? If you don't mind, I mean."

Well that isn't fair, Zelo can ask and not me? Well then...

"Well...she kinda treats me like I'm her brother, I treat her like my sister. We're just like best friends I guess..." he sighs after saying that.

I couldn't resist, "So you DO like her?"

"Well...yeah, sure." YoungJae starts blushing and YongGuk tries to start up a new conversation.

"So you guys like pie?" He says.

We all laugh and start talking about pie. Although I'd rather talk about cheesecake...oh well. By the time it's 9:OO PM, we decide to go to sleep.

"Hyung? Hyung!?!" Zelo shakes me, tryna wake me up. "Today is SeoJung's birthday!!!"

"What?!?!?" Why the heck didn't anybody tell me?!!??!?!

"Yeah, we're gonna surprise her, SeoBaek will take us and explain to you what to do.

"I'm gonna be back, bro. Wait for me!" So I jump outta bed, put on my sneakers and a hoodie and just run to the market.

At the market, I look around at all the stuff. There are little Hello Kitty things, but those are too girly. They have some hats, but I don't have enough money. I turn around the corner and I see some ribbons. And they're not just little ribbons, like BEAUTIFUL ribbons with different patterns and whatever. She wears braids a lot...so sure! I pick two different ones, a white and silver one and a pink lacey one, I buy them, and head back.

***back at the dorm***

When I'm home, I cut them all in half and tie them together ending up with two adorable little bows for her hair instead of 4 super long ones.

"Wow, DaeHyun. You made those for her? They're awesome!" SeoBaek says when she sees the gift I made.

She explains the plan to us and she leads us to her house.

Basically SeoBaek and YoungJae talk the whole time, Zelo plays hand games with JongUp and HimChan and YongGuk seem to be discussing something important. Which leaves me alone in the back. But it doesn't bother me.

I keep playing around with the bows and trying to imagine SeoJung acually wearing them.

When we get there, we go up to her room. SeoBaek wakes her up and we sing a birthday song. We all have confetti that we throw in the air. She smiles and laughs.

Zelo got her a beanie with little cats on it. "It's so cute! Thank you JunHong!"

YoungJae and SeoBaek bought her a cake that they say we'll all eat later. JongUp got her some little bunny ears that, I have to admit, are kind of awesome.

YongGuk and HimChan also bought a ton of ice cream in her favorite flavors (according to SeoBaek, of course). So then I give her the ribbons I made.

"Did you...did you make these?" She asks me.

"Err...yeah."

"Oh my gosh! They're so cute!" She hugs me. Aish...

"Here..." I help her as she braids the other side of her hair while I tie one ribbon in the other braid. Then the same for the other one when she finishes braiding. "They're really pretty." I say to her. She smiles brightly.

"Thanks, Opa!" She puts her hand up for a high five.

"Nah...fist bump, bro!" I say.

"What's a fist bump?"

"You don't know?!?!?!" I say astonished.

"Aniya..." she says, embarrassed.

"Well then..." I take her hand and put it in a fist. "See?" Then I make a fist and bump hers, still holding her hand up. "Like that! But you have to explode it with sound effects like I did."

"Ok..." she laughs and we fist bump. And she does it perfectly.

So we go to that cafe and eat our cake and ice cream outside at a table. She wears the ribbons all day. She kept touching them and twirling them like they were toys, but still. She looked like a little girl wearing them.
