<SeoJung's POV>
So it's a couple days after SeoBaek told me about DaeHyun and me. So I have nothing to do, so I call him. "DaeHyun?"
"Yeah..."
"Wanna go somewhere today?"
"And where would we go?" Oh jeez. That sounded jerk-ish.
"Somewhere." I know where we're going.
"Aish...see you...when?"
"At 2."
I hang up and SeoBaek teases me and tries to get me ready, even though I don't really care if I look fancy or not...oh well.
***1 hour later***
"Hello." DaeHyun says when he sees me. He's waiting outside his dorm with his earbuds in.
"Take out those earbuds and I'll tell you where we're going." I say.
"What?" He takes his earbuds put so he can here what I say.
"Let's go." I grab his arm and pull him out the doors.
"Aish..." he says under his breath.
I just laugh and keep on going, then he laughs and follows me.
I take him to the basketball courts that I used to play on. I denied everything SeoBaek said and wore a tank top and basketball shorts.
"What are we doin' here?" He asks.
"My old basketball courts." I say as I grab a basketball from the ball room.
"I don't know how to play..." DaeHyun says.
"That's why I'm gonna teach you." I say and he looks at me all confused.
"You taught me bows, I teach you basketball. Deal? Let's go!"
I go to the free throw line and pass the ball to him. "Now pass it back. It's called a check. So check it!"
He passes back and I head off for the basket, but slowly.
"Come guard me. Just bend your knees a little bit and put your arm up that's closest to the basket. Then put your other arm not straight out, but not straight down. In the middle." He does what I say and I shoot. It swishes, obviously, because I'm amazing like that.
"Now you take the ball. Take your right hand and dribble." I show him how to dribble properly. "No double dribbles which is either dribbling, picking it up, and dribbling again or dribbling with two hands at the sans time."
"Ok. Am I doing it right?"
"Yeah. Now dribble behind the free throw line." He does as he's told.
"Now try to get around me and shoot. First one to 3 points wins. I have 1 point already. Go!"
He almost makes his first shot, but I steal it and take it up. I decide to do a left handed lay up instead this time. "What the...?" He says.
I make the basket. "What?" I ask.
"You went to the left."
"So?"
"Oh well. 2-0. I'm winning let's go!"
It's his ball, he checks it. He goes in for a lay up and it makes. Perfectly. Because I taught him, of course.
"Nice shot!" I say and he tries to high five me. "No way! Fist bump!" I wink and we fist bump and so now the score is 2-1.
I get the ball, I check, and right away I shoot the free throw. Swish.
"Ok. You will teach me how to shoot right. Right now." He says laughing.
"Ok. So...take your right hand. See the valve? Where you would pump air into the ball? You put that between your middle and pointer finger. Then make sure the ball rests on your finger pads, not your palm. Left hand is a guide so the ball won't go off flying the wrong way. Then right foot slightly in front, keep your elbow straight, bend your knees, and jump up to shoot."
I shoot and pt hits the back board and goes in.
He tries and it makes. "Awesome!" He says.
"Let's go. I shoot 5, you shoot 5. Then we see who wins."
"You, obviously." He says back.
He makes 3 of 5. I make 5 of 5. "You got it right. But you just need to fix your aim. Always aim for the back of the rim. Unless its a lay up. Then aim for the corner of the box."
We go again and he gets 4 and I get 4. I go on for at least another hour with him.
"Your not tired yet?" He says.
"No. Lemme tell you a secret." I motion for him to come closer like I'm gonna whisper something in his ear. But instead I kiss him on the cheek and yell, "1 on 1! First to 3 wins!"
He cracks up. And we play. This time he wins. 3-2. "You're hilarious." He picks me up and twirls me around.
I go over and sit down against the wall and chug my warerbottle. "Save some for me!" He says.
"Fine. Here." I give him my bottle and he finishes it. "I'm so tired." I say.
"Me too. Just lay down and rest. I'll wake you up."
"You sure?" I ask.
"Yeah."
<DaeHyun's POV>
I'm worn out from free throws and 1 on 1s and I just wanna sleep, but instead I let SeoJung rest. I don't think I would've done that for anyone else. There's just something about this girl..."SeoJung..."
"Yeah..." she sounds tired.
"I think I like you..."
She just closes her eyes and smiles. "If we both weren't dripping sweat, I'd hug you to death right now." We both laugh.
"But you're so adorable when you sleep." I say. Which, in my defense, is completely true. In every way, shape, and form.
"Saranghae, Oppa..." she says to me and holds my hand. She drifts off to sleep, still holding my hand.
"I love you too..." I say, even though she's sleeping and can't hear me.
A half hour later, I decide to wake her up. "Yah! SeoJung!"
"Huh? What?" She wakes up suddenly.
"So I'm allowed to call you my girlfriend now?"
"Sure. You Pabo." She pokes my nose. I pinch her cheek.
"Gotcha." I say.
"Fine. Let's go. How long was I alseep?"
"About 3O minutes..."
"Aish...didn't you get hungry at all? Anything? You could've woken me up sooner." She says. She sounds kind of worried.
"Chill out, girl." I put my arm around her and we walk home. "Maybe we could play again some time."
"Yeah." I kiss her on her cheek.
"What was that?" She asks.
Then she kisses me for reals. Kind of surprised, I kiss her back. I pot by head down. "I love you." I say.
"Me too, Oppa..." she laughs and we continue home.
