Eren's POV

Eren's stomach churned nervously in his stomach as he watched the scenery fly past him. A sense of nostalgia washed over the brunette when he saw the familiar wooden gates of Kamp Kyojin.

His feet swung idly over his chair in the backseat, not quite touching the ground. Yes. He was short. Ever since his fifteenth birthday, he hadn't grown at all. He'd even shrunk a bit. And if that isn't enough, his body seemed to get leaner and way more feminine.

Eren grimaced. It was 8 years after his summer camp spent here, and more importantly; 8 years after his promise with Levi.

The brunette wondered how Levi was doing. Was he still the small, shy Levi that he knew? Or did he grow to be a large, confident Alpha? What race did he present as? Was a neko like he'd said he'd be? Or did he turn out a werewolf like his mother?

All these questions were circling around his head, and before he knew it, his mother had parked the car. She turned around in the drivers seat and smiled softly at Eren. Her gaze held a lingering pity. He hated it.

He knew his parents weren't all that happy by what he presented as. You see, his father thought- no, he was absolutely certain- that Eren would present as a Werewolf Alpha. But as fate would have it, on the day of his fifteenth birthday, he woke up whining in distress and drenched in a foreign sweet scent. He had presented as an omega. An omega neko, nonetheless. His father was pissed, to say the least.

Neko's weren't a very common species Eren later found out, and the puzzling family genes came from his great great grandfather on his mother's side. Omegas were also quite scarce these days.

Well wasn't he just full of surprises.

"Aw, sweetie, you'll be fine," Carla cooed, trying to reassure her only son. "I bet you'll fit right in!"

Eren tugged his forest green colored beanie down further over his large chocolate-brown feline ears (One of the many changes that have proceeded to take place after he had presented). The brunette had not only developed cat ears, but a matching tail along with some sharpened teeth and slightly slitted pupils. That and the obvious height issue. And not to mention he still had two different colored eyes.
'Talk about fitting in...' He thought to himself glumly.

Eren tried to return the smile, but it ended up looking more along the lines of a strained grimace. His mother just sighed tiredly and opened her car door, going around the back of the vehicle to unload Eren's things.

The brunette quietly followed, and shortly after hugging his mother in a quick goodbye, watched the shiny silver of her car disappear around the corner.

Eren, despite his sudden weariness, put on a determined face and slung his duffel bag over his shoulder, hesitantly making his way towards the main cabin; the one where he first met Levi.

Levi's POV

"Tch. Shut up shitty glasses."

"But Leviii!" A brunette with a messy bun and goggles yelled across the confined area that was their friend, Erwin's, car.

"I've got a right to tell you to shut it, Hanji. You've been shrieking your fucking head off non-stop this entire car ride." Levi responding in a cold voice, his eyes fixed in a glare towards Hanji, the bespectacled woman in question.

You see, when Levi had announced to his friends, about 3 months ago, that he was going to be attending a summer camp to meet up with an old friend, they had insisted to come as well. Levi wasn't really pleased with this idea, because, well, he was supposed to use this camp to catch up with Eren. But they had begged and begged, and no matter what Levi said, they had signed up and payed regardless of his threats. He wouldn't admit it, but he was really quite grateful of his friends, because although he was practically 18 and could manage himself fine, he knew he would always had those two oddballs behind him.
