Marie stared out the window, scared to even speak. She wondered where he was taking her, what he was going to do to her. She took a shaky breath, trying to calm down and trying to think how this happened. She was just walking home from school, that's all. It's not like she was out late partying or drinking, she was just walking home in the middle of the day. This wasn't supposed to happen to her, she was a straight A student, perfect attendance, she was a golden child. How could this happen to her? Why not someone who didn't care about their lives, people who didn't have a future and didn't care what happened to them? She felt a tear slide down her cheek, though she didn't dare try to wipe it away in fear of the man. She was angry but more so scared of the entire situation. She wanted to go home, she wanted to hug her parents, she wanted her life back. By now she knew that her life no longer belonged to her, even though she had accepted it subconsciously when she was kidnapped, she was now accepting it. She stared at the passing scenery, more tears streaming down her cheeks as she tries not to make a sound. She didn't deserve to get kidnapped... She had a bright future, she was going to go to college and get a job... All those dreams were now gone. She wouldn't be able to do any of that if she didn't escape. That's it! All she had to do was escape, she felt just the tiniest sliver of hope and her heart raced at the thought of being able to escape and return home. she slightly glanced at the man in the drivers seat, who had paid her no mind, pretty much ignoring her. She took in his dark features, the gruesome scar down his cheek that looked ragged and must've been very painful, his pale skin, his dark ebony hair, and his mysterious blood red eyes. She wondered if they were contacts to make him seem more dangerous and scary, if that was the reason, it was working. She had noticed that he drummed his thumbs against the leather steering wheel as he drove, the soft rhythm was not reconigzable but could easily be from a song. "Do you know why you were sold?" he asked, suddenly in a deep silky voice. His voice was none the less attractive, but not in this situation, not after he had bought her for god knows what. "N-no sir.." she says in a soft, scared voice, she didn't want to risk the thought that he didn't care what she called him, so she stuck with the polite word. He let's out a quiet chuckle that seemed evil in a way and sent a shiver down her spine. "For blood mainly." He licks his lips slightly, just by thinking about the red substance. She tensed slightly, she had always had a problem with blood, she hatedbthe sight of it, even the thought of it gave her chills. "B-blood?" she squeaks out. He smirks. "You'll learn soon enough, slave.'' So that's what she was.. A slave. Never had she thought she'd be a slave to anyone, let alone a stranger. Her heart sunk at the thought if having to obey this man, to be honest she was scared already to disobey him. This was a living hell. What did she do to deserve this fate?
