"We came as soon as Mr.Jentz called. What happened?!", Eve runs frantically into Adrian's hospital room and I slowly walk behind her shuddering.

Ugh, hospitals give me the creeps...

I look into the room to see Adrian knocked out cold. Hailey cusses before shoving a note in my face reading:

What'd I tell you. You play by my rules. I have something pinned on each of you......wouldn't want those things to leak out,now would we?

"I thought this b***"h was dead! Why is she meddling in our lives?!", Hailey shouts.

"Shhhh!",I sigh,"I think we need to take this to the authorities...."

Eve shakes her head,"Maybe...but what if what happened to Adrian happens to us on our way there?"

"It's a chance worth taking. I'm sick of this whore!", Hailey screams and Adrian lets out a sound.

"Ehh?"

We all run to her bed and she makes a face.

"Why am I in the hospital?"

"A.",we all reply at the same time, staring at each other in fear.

"She....It-Did this?!"

I nod and rub the back of my neck.

"Call my mom."

"Wha-",Adrian cuts Eve off.

"Call her. NOW!"

Hailey calls Adrian's mom and Eve pulls me outside the room.
"Do you really think we should let the cops know wassup?"

I nod,"Yeah....it makes enough sense to..."

"But we'd have to show the cops the text.....which have keys to our personal life...."

An uncomfortable silence fills the area and the surrounding sounds of the hospital fade away.

"That's true bu-"

My phone vibrates in my pocket and a chill runs up my spine.

Before, taking my phone out I take a deep breath.

Lord, please don't let it be A.

I take my phone out and when I see a message from Thomas.

TomCat❤: Hey baby, how you doing?

I sigh in relief and text him back.

"Was it A?"

"....No."

Eve smirks."Was it a boy?!"

I bite my lip a little and nod.

"Ok giiiiiiiiiiiirl! Give me details!!!!!!!"

"He's white....British.....and SUPER FINE!"

Eve squeals and Hailey pokes her head out the door, "Why y'all heffas being so loud?"

Why are you all of a sudden so ghetto?

Eve laughs the comment off and rolls her eyes, I follow suit. Hailey wasn't always like this. In all honesty, she used to look at a nappy haired gorilla, but she always had a heart of gold.

Well....I guess things just change that way..
