I could feel the wind rushing against my cheeks as I pedaled on my bike faster and faster, trying to get rid of all the harsh, bitchy comments running through my head.
Flashback: one minute earlier
"Why are you even friends with Krystal, Sabrina? I mean, she's just so ugly and not to mention, she is so fucking quiet, she never talks! She's so lame." Amy, the bully. She was really good at making me feel shitty. She was worse than every other person that has bullied me. That's saying a lot, considering I've been bullied for most of my life. Amy was talking so loud, as if she wanted me to hear her. The anger boiled inside of me. My fingers itched into a fist....but I knew I couldn't. I couldn't punch her. She would get me back. So I swallowed my fury and hopped onto my bike and pedaled away.
Back to the present.....
I slammed the door to my room, tears pouring out onto my cheeks. Thoughts are racing through my mind. How could Sabrina, my best friend, not stand up for me? I squeezed my eyes shut, hoping to stop the tears from falling.
* the next morning*
Ring! Ring! Ring! Ring! Ring! Ri-- I stabbed the screen on my phone's alarm. I groaned.
Great, I thought bitterly. Its Monday. I have to deal with Amy again. I wonder what new insults she's thought of for me today.
"Krystal!" My sister Dana hollered as she barged into my room. "Hurry up because mom is getting pissed off. You're going to make us late to school." My sister, Dana, is 2 years younger than me. She can be annoying at times.
"Okay, okay, I'm getting up. Not next time instead of barging in! Goodbye! Don't let the door hit you on your way out!" I laughed to myself, shooing her out of my room. I make my way over to my bathroom, which is connected to my room. What's so great about my room is the bathroom, because no one else uses it because you can I only get into it from my room. I let my feet sink into the plush blue carpet, and then got ready to go.
