Put another X on the calendar,
Summer's on it's deathbed,
There is simply nothing worse,
Than knowing how it ends.

Dallon had just finished packing up his last bag of clothes.

Today was the day he was moving from his sweet, innocent city of Salt Lake City, Utah, to the city of Sin, Las Vegas. They decided they wanted to have a change for their Senior year in highschool.

School just let out for the summer two days ago. People usually wouldn't move so far away from their hometown, for reasons like family or friends. But, the only person Dallon has is Pete, so why not?

Dallon marked an X on the calendar, signaling that he was one day closer to death. Not excatly a bad thing.

"Dal, is that the last bag?" Pete asked.
"Yeah." I replied, sitting it in the moving truck.

"Okay then, let's get on the road!" He said, throwing his hands in the air like a little kid. I laughed at him, adding a "You are so childish"

As we started to drive off, I got lost in thought. I was daydreaming of one day finding love. I know, it's cheesy, but I want it so bad.

I have never truly loved or have truly been loved in my entire 18 years of life. I know, it sounds sad and lonely, but you get used to it eventually.

Before I knew it, I had fell asleep. Good thing Pete volenteered to drive the truck. Thanks Pete.
