After a few minutes of Chris driving we soon pulled up to Roscoe's chicken and Waffle's . I've never been here before. It also had a nearby park where adults could just relax and just chat it up while their kids run around and play.
As soon as I was going to open the door Chris jogged up and opened it for me. Such a gentlemen, I thought.
"Thank you"
" Your welcome baby girl"
I blushed
We walked up to the desk where we would order a table
"Hi,may I help you" the lady said cheesing and winking at Chris obviously flirting 😑. I rolled my eyes clearly annoyed
"Yes, I made a reservation for Brown"
"Oh, ok" she said looking through the system to look for Chris' last name
"Ah, yes Brown, Chris isn't it"?
"Yeah" he said
"Right this way"the lady said bumping into me on purpose showing us to our table. I scoffed, I guess Chris noticed and wrapped his arms around my waist.
"Enjoy your meal" she kindly said
"Whatever" I mumbled sitting doen , with Chris sitting down also.
"So" Chris said
"So" I said mocking him
"Um, I - I just w-wanted to get to know you better."
"Ok"
" I'm really attracted to you Kae"
"Really"?
"Really". He said " I mean I know I was a typical asshole for a boy but I'm trying"
" ok ". I said " I'm attracted to you too" (what am I saying I'm dating Daniel )
" I just hope I'm not pushing or forcing you to go out with me". "I wanna take this slow you know".
"Oh, n- i said before the waiter interrupted me
Hi I'm Sebastian and I'll be your waiter for the evening. "What would you like to drink miss"?
"I'll have a sweet tea" he nodded writing that down on his notepad. "And for you sir"?

1 hour later
After an hour of laughing and eating and talking we finished. As I was about to pay Chris slapped my hand and handed the waiter his credit card
"You- you didntbhave to do that"
"Trust me", he said "I wanted to".
"Thanks"
"Your welcome".
"You ready for Dave and buster's"! he said excitedly.
I giggled"yes"
"Let's go" he said. Both of us getting into his car on our way to Dave and buster's.
