The girls quickly gathered their sleeping bags and other material and started towards the creek. They arrived with about an hour until night fall. They set up camp and went to look for Aqua. They found her and sat down by the creek. "I'm so glad you returned. You must meet all of my friends," said Aqua.
"Well where are they?" Katie asked.
"Just wait," Aqua replied.
When night fell the creek transformed. The flowers lit up and dozens of fairies came flying out. Nymphs, gnomes, and other magical creatures came out from their hiding. The girls were amazed and saw creatures they only saw in story books. Aqua took Isabelle over to a bend in the creek and introduced her to a little nymph boy named Oliver. Sarah decided she had enough magic for one day and went to bed. Katie floated around from person to person until she met the ruler of the forest.
" hello, my name is Gaelin. I'm the ruler and healer of the forest,"He said. " it's nice to meet you."
" hello my name is Katie and the pleasure is mine," she replies. Gaelin continued to talk but Katie stopped listening. She stared at him admiring his long golden hair, bright sky blue eyes and shiny porcelain skin. He looked the same age as her but had such a strong caring presence about him. "... It's nice having another Elven royal among us," Gaelin said. " Wait you're an elf and who is the other royal," Katie asked.
" Yes I'm an elvish prince. I become a true king in five years when I turn eighteen. You need your sleep, goodnight. Oh and the other royal is you," Gaelin said and then left her. Katie stood there confused and stunned. She went off to bed with a million question buzzing around in her head like swarms of bees.
