Katie was a thirteen year old girls who loved everything magical. Over the summer she went to visit her friends Sarah and Isabelle. Sarah was also thirteen but didn't believe in fairies, mermaids, or anything magical. Isabelle, being only five years old, thought the world of magic was as real as the grass on the ground. Katie loves being outside and exploring the world around her. Especially when she had friends to go with her.
On the long two hour car ride to the farm she stared out the window and watches the clouds go by until she fell sound asleep. During her slumber she dreamed that she was in a meadow filled with daisies. She was watching a sparkle dance from daisy to daisy towards her. When it reached her it stopped. It was a fairy in a silver gown, crystal wings, and hair of gold. She was just about to follow the fairy when all of a sudden she woke with a thud and the world of paved roads and asphalt she left behind was now dirt roads and fields. She tried and tried to go back to the dream but with no luck. The last twenty minutes she just sat there in the passenger seat of the car thinking about the fairy.
