goodbye

Hush now
don't say a word
unspoken thoughts I've already heard
time has passed and the distance is great
we can't recover from the past
it's far too late
our love will be forever bonded in time
a beautiful love both yours and mine
who could have known just how it would end?
I still love you and miss you my friend
the pain is great and hard to hide
but through all the memories I'm saying goodbye
