Moving is never fun- packing, boxes, fighting, messes, anything and everything you can associate with moving is how moving is. The worst thing about it is leaving everything behind, when you leave a town- time freezes, and you remember the one thing you forgot to do, the thing you had hidden in the floorboards. The one friend you didn't get to say goodbye to.
And there is always the one person, one thing, one place. You always forget. You're rushed, clothes in one box everything else in another, you didn't get a chance to say goodbye to the widows peak, the cliff hanging over the whole city that is beautiful at night. You never feel satisfied leaving, moving. It feels like there is a gaping hole in your chest, like you're leaving everything you've ever known.
At least, that's how it felt for me. Running, hiding, staying away from them.
Moving 23 times, without a dad, or mom. Only your 9 year old sister? It sucks.
