< The next day, Arden's POV>

I woke up to my annoying alarm clock which is on my phone. I turned it off and rubbed my eyes. I laid back down see Rich in my bed, I forgot he spent the night. I got out of bed and got ready. I wear a lot of hipster and tumblr inspired clothes and my signature afro with bangs [outfit above]. I went into the kitchen and made breakfast for me and Rich, and then went to wake him up. I woke up at like 6:30 and it's about 7 now. School stars at 8:15, so we have lots of time. I sat at the edge of the bed and shook him. That didn't work so I started poking his face.....and when that didn't work I started jumping on the bed screaming.

"RICH! WAKE UP BEFORE WE'RE LATEE!"

His eyes popped open and he pulled one of my legs causing me to fall on the bed.

"You could've chosen another tactic to wake me up."

"Well I tried but you didn't budge. Go get ready, I have breakfast downstairs."

" well damn no good morning?" He smiles at me.

" good morning Rich. "

" come on you can do better than that." He pulled me into his lap and kissed me, tongue and all. I'd be lying if I say I didn't enjoy it. He pulled away and licked his lips, smirking at me. "that's better. Give me 20 minutes ma" he kissed me cheek before he got up and went to the bathroom to get ready.

Why does he keep kissing me? He can't "like me, like me" he's my best friend, wouldn't that be weird? I pushed the thoughts to the side and before I knew it Rich had eaten and it was time to get to school. We walk to school since it's not that far. When we got to school. Rich and I sat in the cafeteria where everyone is u tilt he homeroom bell rings. We waited for the rest of our friends to show up. Until the. We were just talking,

"So when you gonna wear that sexy dress ma?" He licked his lips and looked me up and down. I blush wondering what he's thinking about.

" um idk. Maybe this weekend, I wanted to go somewhere."

"Where you going?"

"I wanted to go to the teen club up the street. You wanna come with?"

" you already know. "

Just then the bell rings. I guess our friends are late as always. TBH they are never here before the homeroom bell. Rich and I start walking to my locker.

<Rich's POV>

Arden walked a little bit in front of me. I stared at her, not creepy or anything but just taking in her existence. I don't get how she can be so insecure at times. I mean she's intelligent, beautiful, caring, quiet, and let me not get stared on her body. She's so self conscious of it but it's perfect, there's nothing wrong with a little extra meat.
We got to her locker and I examined her facial expressions, the way her eyebrows naturally arch whenever she focusing on something, her smile and deep dimples. Anybody would be lucky to have her. I went to my locker which was a little down the hall while she was at hers. From the corner of my eye I saw Nigel, the quarterback of the football team, approach her. I could hear their conversation from where I was so I listened in.

" hey you're Arden right?"

"Yeah.why?" Arden kept a blank face the whole time.

"I just thought you were really cute and was wondering would you like to come over to my house sometime, maybe have a study date?" He licked his lips and lifted her chin up with his finger. She shook him off.

"No thanks. If you wanna fuck so bad, I suggest you fuck off. " with that Arden closed her locker and walked toward me with a scowl on her face. That's my girl.

" you good, Kid?"

"Yeah. I just don't like how he thinks he can get every girl. "

" don't worry ma. He not gone touch you." I pull her close to me by her waist. "You're mine. And no ones gonna change that." I smile down at her and she blushes and turns her head.

We start walking down the hall together towards our first period class, AP Biology. We have this class with Cole, Cyrus, Chauncy, Melody, and Genova. We walked in the class and Chauncy and Melody approached us. We talked a little before class and took our seats, Arden didn't say much. We were copying notes from the board when this girl Meagan starts talking to me.

" Hey, Daniel" she bit her lip flirtatiously at me. She wasn't a bad looking girl. She had light skin and a nice figure, dark brown hair that was straightened and light brown eyes.

" hey." I wasn't trying to make much conversation. I had my eyes on somebody else....

"Um I was wondering could I have your number. You seem cool to hang out with. "

"Uh...." I look at Arden who is still copying her notes, unaware of what's happening. " I guess so." I reluctantly write down my number and give it to her.

The rest of the class Meagan kept staring at me and giving me seductive looks. I thinks she's cool but a little too crazy to be my girl. First period was finally over, so I followed Arden to the water fountain.

" Rich."

" Yeah?"

" you were talking to Meagan. I saw what she was doing, but be careful. I've heard she's slept around a lot and has Clamydia." I laugh out loud.

" you really think about to sleep with her? Nah, she not fine enough for that." Arden chuckled slightly under her breathe. I leaned close to her ear and said. "...but you are." Her eyes went wide and she looked at me with her cheeks burning red.

We had another 10 minutes to get to 2nd period so I grabbed her hand and led her to the janitors closet. I backed her up against the wall, breathing down on her. She was breathing hard looking at me with a sexy look, I've seen this look before....she wanted me. I pulled her close to me and started kissing her neck while letting my hands travel down to her ass. I gave it a squeeze and she gasped. She moaned my name, stuttering a little, but it made me go crazy. I lifted my head from her neck and looked in her eyes. I leaned next to her ear and whispered.

" if we were more than best friends.....I probably would've stole your virginity ma." I kissed her cheek and headed out of the janitors closet. I walked to my next class, which I didn't have with Arden, but I had it with my other friends. Damien, Michael, and Andrew. I wonder what Arden is doing now?
